About Sensory originally started in Mac 2001, when 2 members of a Metal group, Pick Cell (which is Afwan and Aie) decided to form a project band so that they can play in other position than their current band. So, they gather up their younger sibling, Pa’an on drums and their hometown friend, Andre on vocals to form a new band. The band was completed when Aie asked his friend, Agus to join up as a guitarist. Therefore, Sensory was born. Shafiq joined later as a bassist when Aie left to concentrate on Pick Cell.
