In Torment .: Click To Enter :. in torment is spawned in late 98, after rimie, shahrul and azrimie has just finish their secondary school, they try to bring up the metal scene back in kota bharu after the domination of punk nazis, oi! and the invasion of hardcore and rapcore. at first, they were called SLAVES. and then, few months later they produce a two songs demo entitled 'prayer of the crow'. its been years after that, a new wave came down in rimie, shahrul and azrimie's mind that they can make a change in kota bharu scene. after the 'prayer' demo, they saperated. rimie went to KL and shahrul and azrimie went to johor studying. there's nothing much about them by that time only rimie is still playing with bands in KL. few years later, rimie and sharul came back and with azrimie is still in KB, they reign a chaos again. they are quite bored by playing some of metallica shit and some melodic tunes. they want more. then after that, the supreme birth of in torment..... after months, they work hard to play brutal songs and ultra fast. then came akmal, the young brother of shahrul for the position of rythm guitarist. with a mind set up for the up coming demo, they practice a lot with some of brutal tunes from deicide, cannibal corpse and terrorizer as their idols. with many month of practice they seems to succeed. they try to compose their own songs and lyrics the help of the new vocalist, hadi. they march on. then, after weeks of strugling, they succsesfully produce 'rise of the gemulah', the first demo of in torment. never turn back, they march on for future........ in torment, east coast wind of chaos......
