Ceria Meria .: Click To Enter :. In Selesa Hillhomes Resort early 2005, the old 'Selesa' band was being replaced by a new one. Fei was appointed to lead them and he then chose 3 new staff that had joined. Fazil, from housekeeping to play the lead guitar; Yusri, also from housekeeping to play the bass and bongos; and Kamal from kitchen to play the drums. Fei himself played the rhythm guitar and alternated bass with Yusri. Each of them were vocalists and took turns swapping instruments around and positions. These 3 chosen were exceptionally good, unique in fact. Soon after, proper jamming sessions were organised several times a week and they soon began to perform weekly every Friday and Saturday night at the Selesa Hillhomes 'Supper Corner'. Ceria Meria were exceptionally good bedroom rockers as they recorded most of their acoustics in the middle of the night! A month after that they were invited to play an outside gig, in INTI College Malaysia, for a Tsunami Relief Event. They performed several songs which ranged from groups like The Calling to Simple Plan to OAG to Black Eyed Peas. Other in-house performances came along in the resort and they proved to be rather versatile with songs ranging from Malay to English and improvised solos. It was unknowingly a parting for Ceria Meria when Fei left work to continue studies on February 11th 2005.
