SUPERHEROES .: Click To Enter :. WARNING! What you are about to listen to is the most cheapest homemade recording ever made by a 3 piece (with 2 reserve members) band. Ignore the sound quality!! Haha! We originally met as strangers! Ben met Richie and jammed together, then Ben met Paiz and jammed together as well, then Ben introduces Richie to Paiz, then Ben, Richie and Paiz jammed together, then Ben, Richie and Paiz started SUPERHEROES. Then Richie got a job and Paiz got an exam, so then Ben met Azzad and Jon, then Ben jammed with Azzad and Jon. Then RIchie got work and so did Azzad and Jon meant that we recruited a friend named Shah aka E-Boi as a guitarist with Pa'in returning as bass. And now...there are four of us taking the role of SUPERHEROES. But the big question is actually...why are we doing this? Why? Why go through all the trouble of wasting ur pennies and sen to jam (which makes up a hefty sum of money if we were to add it all up from then till now), and then buy musical instruments. Do we want to be famous? Be adored by legions of fans? Sell millions of albums? Show up on Letterman? Start our own reality show? Duh! There's no way that thats ever gonna happen in the Malaysian music industry. There's just no point really...but we still play our music, hold on to our instruments and jam together. Even though it brings no real purpose. It simply started off as a way for us to indulge oursleves the music we listen to and love, it's magic just to listen to your favourite song, but its a miracle to be able to play it all together with frens that share the exact same interest as you. But it is even more miraculous to be able to make and play our own original peices of music. In a way, playing together in the studio was a some sort of a retreat and a reprieve between us and the real world. Being confined in that small cublce called a jamming studio, we escape from the harsh and ridiculous reality of our daily lives. It is here we turn to our most discrete selves and become our alteregos...where we bring out the real emotions that drives us on.... Yeah sure we can't climb Everest...and sure we can't sail around the world in a 'pperahu' and for sure we won't be the first Malaysians in space. But hell, when we play our music...we're already in space... and guess thats the reason why we are a band, coz it makes us who we are.
