About Hailing from Kuching, Sarawak Libretto is definitely pushing the envelope in their hometown more traditionally known for their British indie traditions.

The band recorded a live demo called 100 Show in September 2004 where the early versions of Magna Carta and Every Summer can be found in this recording, which also includes The Cure cover Boys Dont Cry. The demo was only distributed among friends. Buoyed with encouraging reception to the demo, Libretto later recorded their debut ep This is an EP in Kuching and released them late December 2005.

The debut material received high praises on its energy and musicianship. For the moment the band is writing new materials for the upcoming recording, which is slated for release first quarter of next year.

The music that Libretto plays is post-punk, however the band mixes their sound with different genres of rock namely post-hc, indie and progressive punk and not forgetting new wave.

Mid this year ,Libretto recorded their 2nd EP Disc:losure with 5 tracks at 101 Studio KL.
Libretto are pleased to announce that their new EP entitled Disc:losure will be released in East and West Malaysia on Octocer 2007.The track listing will be as follows :

* Disc:losure EP is now on studio post-production process of final mastering and reassemble the track sequencing.
