TwoSidesToAStory plays a fusion of alternative and modern rock. Read between the lyrics and you will find the band's materials touch problems with drugs, relationships, social events and life experiences. The band wishes to bring hope to those who can relate to their songs with their music.

With the expertise of Sonique Productions' producer Nick Lee (Dragon Red, Tempered Mental, Pete Teo ++), the band recorded Familiar Faces and Sunday in August 2005. This was the initial effort for their plans of releasing a demo release, which will also contain three home recorded tracks, namely, Hill of Hopes, All We Live For and After Me. These five songs featured in the band's first demo release are frequently played at their live sets. Gigging since May 2005, the band has appeared in several shows in KL and even in a mini concert in Penang.

Late 2005, Sunday surprisingly received high rotation on the musiccanteen's Simon Lee Top 10 radio show, as well as sitting for a few weeks on the musiccanteen Top 10 weekly downloads chart that appears in local newspaper The New Straits Times. In addition, the demo track debuted at soundclick.com Progressive Rock Charts, ranking no.294 on the first day and took a massive leap to no.79 overnight. The demo tracks highest position in the chart was no.74 (out of 9000 tracks).

Wanting to take their music to the next level, the band eventually hit the studio to record new materials with a full-length album at the back of their minds. However, with the departure of Alvin in April 2006, the recording process was put on hold. Ben took over the role of lead guitarist leaving the drums to sessionist, Aie.

Starting a new leaf, TwoSidesToAStory now not only ventures into full-band sets, but acoustic sets as well. The remaining members of the band wishes to pick up from where they've left and continue playing shows to expose their music. In addition, the band unofficially released a demo entitled 'DEMO 2006' which includes re-recoded home versions of 'Hill of Hopes' and 'Sunday'.

The band felt the need to share more materials even if it is only demo versions. Hence, they recompiled 'DEMO 2006' and included 3 instrumental home mixes into the demo - 'Arise', 'After Me' and 'In Pieces'. Reason for doing so is to give people a better idea of their music.

In December 2006, the band made their first appearance at Stadium Merdeka, KL, by playing a 20-mins set at Rock The World 7, Malaysia's Biggest Annual Music Festival. It marked the start of many things to come for each member of the band. Year 2007 marks yet another challenging yet exciting year for them.
