About Founded in 2001 and based in Taman Melawati, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Awaken is a combination of hard rock sounds, emotional lyrics and harmonic vocal melodies.

Influences vary from Dream Theater to Nickelback, Metallica to Evanescence, and perhaps a bunch of other hard rock music.
