I like the song...it's neither old school or new school...having elements of both genres intermixed with something fresh as well. It has pop sensibility while also sitting comfortably in the rock category. The track sounds like it's been recorded live at the studio...was that the case? Anyway, I would have liked the bass and drums to 'lock in' tighter to improve the overall performance of the band.
While I'm not a big fan of this type of vocal styling, it does work for the song. The vocal could have benefitted from a bit more emphaty in it's delivery.
The guitarist is the star of the show. Harmonics squeals interspersed in the rhythm work to provide colours. Great stinging vibrato, good control of bends and fluid delivery. The solo boasts a nice balance between technique, phrasing and feel. Here you can see how technique is used for the benefit of the final musical message, rather than the other way round when some guitarists are showing off technique for technique's sake. I know that this guy can shred for days, but instead, he chose to restrain himself for the sake of the song. Great job!
These guys have got great potential. I look forward for more stuff from you lot!  |

bang bode..thank u for ur review...yeah it was recorded in sae college studio by a 2 students.....the thing is they kinda rushed their project , it was done fer free..so we didnt argue wit the dudes doing the recording , for thier semester project..
we had to use a diff drummer for this recording , cos we couldnt find our drummer..hehehe..hilang! now we've got him back .. it sounds diff with him around cos bass and his drums complements each other..the drummer we got for the recording is awesome 2 , but to teach a new song in a time constraint doenst give ya the optimal i guess.....
yeah..the vox should hv bit more soul init. the style is kinda diff in the verse and in chorus..but must deliver! will get lagi ketat.  eheh.....thks bro.
on the lead is my main man , is , who we sometimes have to remind , not to shred 2 much... eheh..he's awesome.
still trying to find a nicer sound..at the moment its kinda rockish right?
