Sorry guys, I often think my stuff is too crummy to warrant a plug here but this song which I wrote about 20 years ago is especially dear to me because it describes a situation that I felt strongly about at the time: guys beating up on helpless women.
I know all men are bastards (hope this isn't a family-certified site!) but some men are bigger bastards than others.
The song used to be called 'Victim Of Desire' but is now more sensationally retitled 'The Wife Beater'. I used an old drum machine -- a Roland TR-707 -- and muddied the mix somewhat to give it an '80s hard-rock feel. The outro "talk guitar" solo is also in keeping with the spirit of the age.
