But what do the 'Hot' and 'Cool' tags on the charts signify?
Also, I was listening to the radio stream the other day and felt that the i-bands ID came on a bit too frequently for comfort... macam Radio Malaysia 20 tahun lalu... You know, "Waktu sekarang..." every five minutes!
Any way of spacing it out further?

hehe
"hot" indicates a song that has jumped up more than a certain amount of places on the chart compared to its place on the day before.
"cool" indicates a song that dropped its placing on the chart, but had a good placing the day before.
the number of places that triggers the tag is definable
I think I set the station ID after 3 or 4 songs kot? it can be changed. just a matter of changing the numbers _________________ [ Kluk Kluk Adventure ] | [ Call the Paramedics ] | [ Dot ] | [ AJEEPEK ] |

Thanks for the explanation. Things are definitely clearer now.
As for the ID thing, it's better to wait and see what others have to say.
BTW, just heard about the major power outage down South. Your machines OK?

wooooh it happened here as well dude!
KL, Klang, Bangsar!!
I thought it was all Semenanjung. didn't affected Penang eh?
anyway.. the id was based on average radio listening time.. rougly around 15 minutes only
so I figured 3/4 songs should be good. _________________ [ Kluk Kluk Adventure ] | [ Call the Paramedics ] | [ Dot ] | [ AJEEPEK ] |

We were spared. Thank god for that as I was in the midst of remixing some old recordings...
Local news travels real fast on the Net, thanks to my old buddy TV Smith, who actually happens to be a Web-sabby video dude whose expertise could be tapped for i-bands.
As for the ID, every 15 mins sounds reasonable. Cheers. |

According to TNB, there was "power tripping at a substation in Kapar". Major four-hour trip hop dude! |
