alah ... simply mcm nih jek.. ok.. cube ko amik gitar elektrik .. pastuh ko sambung cable gitar tuh terus masuk ke line in (bukan mic in) computer ko... dah tentu level guitar ko terlalu rendah ... pasal signal die berbeza ... pasal tuh ko pakai DI untuk dptkan line level tu... pasal kalau pakai mic input ... die noisy & hot... tuh kalau penerangan yg tak skema la.. hahaha!!

ko still kena pakai di box pasal instrument level tak same dgn line level... tapi tak payah pakai di-box kalau ko ade:

1. amp simulator plugin - die boleh convert signal ko dlm efx plugin nih ... nih la yang paling tak costly bagi aku...

2. preamp - mostly preamp skang ade line-out ... yg penting kalau ko nampak ade perkataan line out tu .. tak payah pakai DI le.. bleh direct pi mixing console terus...

BAlance input : ESI JULI@ http://www.esi-pro.com/viewProduct.php?pid=43&page=1

Balance input: you will get better sound quality compare with unbalance.

1) Tetapkan microphone yg anda nak gunakan : sama ada Dynamic mic or Condenser mic (pastikan kesesuaian vokal)

2)Mic stand diperlukan + Pop Filter : nyanyian perlu berdiri kerana support drpd internal diaphragm dan pop filter utk kurangkn 'pop' utk konsonan 'B' n 'P'

Kegunaan compressor lbh kpd utk menetapkan limit amplitude vokal supaya xterlalu kuat.

How come nobody has mentioned the most important tip for recording vocals?

Get a singer who CAN actually sing !!!

That takes care of 90% of the way to a great sounding vocal. No kidding.

Some other things to look into :

- ensure the singer is well-rested and in the right frame of mind
- ensure the singer has had sufficient practice and memorized the lyrics
- provide a comfortable and inspiring recording environment for the singer to deliver his/her performance
- ensure that the singer is getting a GOOD cue mix (headphone/monitor mix). This is the very often overlooked.

Gear is secondary.

because it quite rare to get a perfect vocalist nowadays..
we have rely on the only vocalist that we had and try to do our best to push the best sound out of her/him...
Agreed on the GOOD cue mix... e.g. most of the vocalist can't hit the high note if the song is not loud enough
