ATH terbaik for the value.. aku carik secondhand je... I'm a POD UX2 user, UX2 is audio interface+multi-effects which is very convenient for home recording. if you wanna use POD Farm software (bundled), u gotta have a powerful PC. if u don't, u still can use Gearbox which perform better with slower PC. I have a pair of ATH-M30 too. It's a great headphone. I use it for checking balances in the mix but I don't use it for finding sounds n mixing. I've been using Altec Lansing 641 (4.1+huge woofer) which is not a pro studio monitor. I manage to deliver the mix BUT it took me some times,efforts, alot of "trials & errors" to understand my speakers & to get the job done. Bcoz multimedia speakers DONT cater for this purpose. I had to check the mixes many times with other audio systems to CONFIRM & CONFIDENT in my mixes. So I decided to survey on some studio monitors. For budget wise, my options down to KRK Rokit 5 & HS50M. KRK cost bout RM1200++ if i'm not mistaken and Yamaha cost RM800 for A UNIT in Yamaha store. So if I'm you, I will get the audio interface, studio monitors and if possible a good mic. Coz these are really vital as a start for home-recording and to make the job easier. U can always upgrade the gears according to your needs and budget in the future. Plus u these equipments doesn't really need further upgrade for awhile.
