Did you mix this in your new mixing room?? If yes then I might be tempted to treat the space where I mix as well...hehehe...
Aku suka detail vocal tu... which model microphone is it? Aku memang tengah me-rickky mics ni... tak lama lagi kena masuk vocals la..
Hish... vocals are uncharted territory for me.. |

Yes...i pre-mix it in my mixing room, but the next day i re-mix it at Kayangan Studio for a loud mixing as my room not allowed me to booming the room hahah most of the mixing part like reverb,bus,EQ i did it in my mixing room... so when i come back to studio i just make adjustment for the panning as i need a lead form rosli how ethnic song instrument should be placing in the stereo imaging.
nanti aku check balik detail mic tuh... tak sure..aku googel pun tak jumpa jenis tuh..tapi let me tell u something, the key of this sound of vocal, or the instrument is not the mic. the mic are good, but the focusrite pre-amp are incredibly great....but mic nih satu yg leceh..penyanyi kene tau nak bring up his/her vocal tone...if not...dia macam mic tuh akan give it to ur face "KAU TAK BOLEH MENYANYI" haha _________________ Support Malaysia Local Band

aku rasa dah finalize walau aku sendiri tak rasa aku dah finalize....sbb producer suka, artist suka, and derang dah submit kat RTM...derang nih semua org kuat RTM...so aku mengikut je...
jawapan: kenapa SM57? sbb sound dia lagi better dan suit dalam lagu tuh. aku try 2 2 mic masa recording. |
nanti ko bawak la aku tour studio tu kalau ada masa...
weh.. aku nak book record vocal kat bilik ko bleh? bila free?
pakai 2 mymic (room) + 1 sm57... amacam? _________________ KreativWerks MediaSolutions|Soundcloud | YouTube | Facebook |

aku dah dapat google...
dia punya model Microtech Geffel M900 atau M910...tak sure yg mana satu.
tapi our model tak sama macam dalam gambar...maybe this is the new design...our's mmg look very old and no MG logo at all...
perbezaan:
M900 = cardioid
M910 = hypercardiod
aku check estimated price dia sekarang (for the model in the picture) :
1,522.50 USD = 4,540.86 MYR
Quote: | The M 900 and M 910 condenser microphones have been developed for recordings of instrumental and vocal soloists in the professional market. lts well balanced frequency response in the free-field as well as in the diffuse-field and the appropriate distinct characteristics ensure clean and colourless recordings of any sound sources with good selectivity.
lt is advisable to use the M 910 by soloists because it shows a specially optimised frequency response for this kind application. A distance of less than 8 to 12 inches, which is recommended as minimum distance between lips and microphone, causes a coloration with an emphasis of lower frequencies, the proximity effect.
An acoustic filter integrated in the protective basket reduces the pop sensitivity. The direction of maximum sensitivity is axial, i.e. endwise to the microphone. This fact and the ergonomic design make these microphone the right choice for live performance of soloists.
Following the modern trend of technique the transducer is equipped with a gold plated polyester membrane.
The newly developed transformerless impedance transducer having a balanced output stage guarantees a high output capability and low intrinsic noise. Together with the good qualities of the microphone capsule a high brilliance of the live performance is reached. A 10 dB attenuator is installed to reduce the sensitivity of the microphone when placed near extremely loud sound sources. And a low frequency roll-oft switch will reduce the proximity effect when dose miking. The two switches are sunk placed in the middle of the amplifier.
At the lower end of the amplifier the microphone is equipped with a 3-pin XLR connector fitting to the microphone cable C 70. These microphones use 48 volt phantom powering according to the international standards DIN 45596 and IEC 268-15.
