I'm not good enough to play any of those songs man! 
Anyway, I haven't practiced since 1994...but if I do have the time (which I think should be impossible)...I would rather practice my own personal licks
After a while practicing other guitarist's solos, at one point, I felt inclined to develop my own style.
My style is crap, but at least it's humbly my own  |

yeah bode,
thats good having your own lick which i am trying to develop as well but still not that great though.....
honestly i couldnt even get to play the songs i mentioned as well as the original but at least im trying to get it right....im not that great....just trying..... |

wow!!! boleh praktis byk2 lagu skali.. for da moment.. aku tgh praktis satu lagu jek .. steve morse - tumeni notes... itupun intro jek.. aku pun takleh nak speed lagi.. dlm lesson yg aku blaja nih.. arpeggios intro die triplet dlm tempo 190 ... alternate picking lak tuh.. hehe!! strunggle abis!!! baru dpt tempo 110... mane nak carik 80 lagi tuh!! hahahah

Bro..don't be too hard on yourself man...you gotta believe in your own stuff because I'm sure yours are good.

That's right man...to improve, we gotta do both: Learn as much of our guitar hero's solos while at the same time try to develop our own voice. But if you think you're not ready for your own thing yet, don't worry...the day will come when you will get 'the calling'...
