hey sorry..i take my word off for ed roman
i thought his ideas and the way he build a guitar is cool with new tech.
1500 G mod,buzz tunning etc..
well but i did some research i find that his is pretty much a con man
he was nvr a PRS dealer

ESP cost around RM4500++ ---RM16,000
in my opinion..ESP builds the FINEST shredding guitar..
i had played a M2, Horizon...those are the best shred guitars i ever met ..(i am talking about the "feel" of the guitar)
but IMO i would think its very very Overprice for the specs ..
eg.you pay RM5200 for a M2 ..
you get
EMG 81/85
c*ck plain inlays
solid color without a top
a licensed floyd
alder wood( not exotic)
rosewood fingerboard and hard rock maple behind (not exotic )
but of course there is "ESP" on the headstock..its like driving a porche
and the feel is incredible too
compared with a musicman axis--RM5000-6000
you get
Dimarzio Custom pickups
c*ck plain inlays(sad ..ESP's better cos its mother of pearl)
Quilted Maple or Flame Maple TOP ( 1 point)
Transparent Colors ,more choices (1 point)
a licensed floyd
Basswood body ( i prefer this over alder)
Birdseye maple or selected maple (1 point)
MADE IN AMERICA
Music man ernie ball isn't too bad for a headstock..i would think ESP has more class ..
Musicman axis is not really a shredding guitar..its more like a tapping - legato thing..alternate picking and sweeping just doesn't look good on it
yea so you decide 
which you should buy?
a better finish or a nice feel and more class?
my take? i will take them both(start saving! )
what about you guys?
anybody wanna recoment guitars besides this 2 ?
price ranging from 5-6k? (erotomania ..share!)

hahahahahahahahahahaa...
anyway, LTD starts at RM1200 for the low-end models... ie EC-100, VIPER-100, etc... made in indonesia, but i think there's nothing wrong with which country the thing's made in... it depends on the company.
and gapster, why are u suggesting guitars above RM5000 here? it's not like most of us can afford them, and if they do i don't think they'll spend that much on a stinkin' guitar, unless if you're a professional artist or something!

Tapi aku jenis yang suka guitar murah jer...
mungkin sebab lebih pentingkan teknik main and skill. And satu lagi aku jenis yang main ganas and tak suka nak manja manja kan guitar... So lebih baik layan guitar murah or 2nd jer. Tapi biar ler tuning betul, bridge setting bagus, tinggi tali and pickup yang bagus. Contoh macam guitar ala les paul tak boleh ler nak rendah sangat tinggi tali berbanding guitar ibanez. Boleh rendah tapi tak der ler bunyi LP seketul seketul dah.
Kengkadang aku terkejut juga bila guitar murah macam falcon boleh sedap macam guitar EPI LP.
Terus rasa main guitar mahal nanti macam orang tak merasa idup susah plak...hehhehe...
Takut nanti beli guitar mahal mahal karang tak sesuai dengan lagu yang nak main.
Pebetullah kalo korang rasa pendapat aku ne salah or tak membina.

ye lah...skill, teknik ngan gitar dipake tak leh dipisahkan...biase member aku pun beli gitar murah, dan adjust2 pikup sume...aku pun tak tau...cuma aku dapat rasakan perbezaan antara falcon aku pinjam dulu ngan fender aku pinjam skang....dimane aku rase fender jauh lebih sedap dimain dan sronok utk praktis song bebanding falcon dulu
aku nak tanye hang, camne diorang ubah falcon tu jadi cam guitar EPI LP????? sbb tukang falcon memang nak jual gitar die tuh |

yes i agree..but the thing about LTD ...
you paid RM1200 or wtv you get an agathis body,plywood ,heck my friend's RM800 ltd's body is made out of 7 pieces : shock :

hahahaha..i think anybody can buy any guitar they want ..
all they need is will power and patience to save up the cash ..
dude why don't you have any passion to own some cool gears?

i do, but most of the guitars i want does not available in lefthand version! that's what making me so fuckstrated!!! but i do own one hell of a gear - BC Rich Warlock (Platinum) - and this is some cool shit to me!
p/s: my dream guitar would be Kelly Hayes ESP or KH-603 ESP!!
