"Greetings from downunder. I've got to say that the Bluemax is about the best bit of gear that I've bought dollar for dollar ever. I absolutely love the tone and "warmth" it imparts, and the way you can drive it or minimalise the result. It really is a wonderful colour to the palette!!
I use it on everything - vocals, bass, acoustics, guitar cabinets... The presets are fantastic and so usable, almost idiot proof. In line with the BlueTube I have succeded in recording unbelievable sounds that belie my Rolands abilities. This massive impovement with great compression and proper gain stages was evident in my band's album; so much so that pros could not believe it was recorded through that "box". It is in my opinion the Bluemax that I used 'flexibly' across every input that contributed big, big time to the big, big sound. Thanks guys, I love my Bluemax 'paintbrush'. Brilliant. Cheers." Ian T., Australia
The BlueMAX is the world's first affordable stereo analog compressor with preset compression curves tailored for a variety of individual instrument and vocal applications. There is a 'manual' mode that allows control over parameters like attack, release, and ratio. The BlueMAX also features full metering over gain reduction and input/output levels plus a sidechain insert jack for spectral processing. The BlueMAX is truly the easiest way to get world-class dynamics control for any recording or live sound application. _________________
