hahahahaha tak metal la baru rock!!! kekekeke
nanti cerita la sikit pasal studio nih, ok? aku rasa music mcm hang ok kot kalau main kat mana2 studio yg takde padding.. tak bising sgt .. kalau memantul-mantul sound dia pon still sedap lagi, kira mcm natural live reverb la.. ye ke?
kalau band metal nih, distortion mau kasik out meter terus! kalau main tak clean, palm-muting tak betul, mula la sound memantul-mantul mcm haram tak sedap bunyinya.. itu la sapa suruh main tak clean ye tak? (hehe kutuk band sendiri...)

To be frank, I lagi suka buat lagu sendiri...tapi since bro Izuan, Erylasia dan synthdude ajak aku solo, aku buat jer la...dan aku admit I really enjoyed the project. Banyak problem nak collaborate over the net...semua takder masa...ada kerja/family masing2...jadi testing dgn lagu cover dulu...jimat masa sikit...so that we know whether or not this collab thing can work at all immediately.
Dan aku minta maaf sebab solo aku macam sial...dah berbulan tak main gitar...dan every 4 bar aku recording terpaksa stop nak tukar nappy/buat susu anak2 aku...rock rock juga...tapi kena la tolong bini juga kan? Dah la dia yg susah2 kena mengandung dan beranak!  Anyway kalau aku buat solo betul2 pun sure still macam sial juga... 
Kalau nak original composition, aku rasa kami semua dah ada berlambak2 juga...ada yg dah di upload di website kami...ada yg belum di upload...dan aku tengah nak buat CD album aku juga yg menampilkan jiwa aku yg sebenar...seorang blues/rock guitarist. Bila dah lama sangat dok buat session2 dan projek2 ni, kadang2 tertinggal asal usul kita...
Sorry to dissappoint you bro Langsuyr.Kalau kau nak, aku boleh refund duit letrik ko stream lagu tu...
Kita org ni baru belajar...so try collab lagu cover dulu...Bro Langsuyr masa muda2 dulu terus main lagu sendiri ke? Tak pernah cover lagu Maiden? Respek la lu bro...tabeeeeeeekkk!!!  |

Macam ni la brother guitar heroes semua...
cover lagu Langsuyr la... heheh... part menyolo tu korang GODAM le betul-betul... In fact, bukan part solo yang clear vokal pun takde... korang HANTAM juga...
Selalunya band cover ni main lebih bagus dari Langsuyr tu sendiri keh keh keh...

would be cool if any of you could cover lagu meshuggah "corridors of chameleon" or "future breed machine"
man.... just speaking of metal makes me feel young again. dah tua nih.... metal metal semue dah tak main 
speaking of langsuir... sorry 2 sibuk... but are they still around? are they known as langsuir or riusgnal now?
wonder where are all the otai metal bands now? for e.g. braindead, ossuary (s'pore), hayagriva etc etc... are these bands still around? |

Eh...mana pulak marah...org2 lama kat i-bands ni memang tahu aku susah sangat nak marah...tapi saper2 yg still boleh buat aku marah juga tu, memang sah la ada kekurangan dari aspek budaya saling hormat menghormati dan budi bahasa. He he he...

isk .. tak sabar plak rase nak abis blaja ... dah 3 tahun tertangguh projek jamm studio aku nih dek terhalang dengan org tua yg nak aku abis blaja.. hehe!!! nak buat mcm mane.. betul jugak cakap diorang .. hehe!!! barang pun dah ade.. duit pun ade ... tapi berkat takde lagi.. jadi tunggu leee.. hehe!!

lol, we were the opening band for ossuary a couple of years back in Warp. Along with blind tribe , and Koffin Kanser, and LYME...i wonder what happened to those guys too.. i think it was ossuarys last show cos the drummer told me he was quitting the band cos his wife (or wassit future wife) wanted him out of the band...man they sure ROCKED the hall. Vocals sebiji cam phil anselmo...and goddamn! they were climbing everywhere!
ps - i still listen to Close Your Eyes. Thats a a beautiful song you got there. |

uh aku 1st tengok Ossuary masa gig kat KL dulu nama "Alternative Music Showcase" taun berapa tah. 94 kot. gila ah. eh but that time sapa lagi main ek. semua best lah. dah la 1st time aku pi gig. PUAS nak mampos rasa.
anyway.. aku pi jamming studio ni semalam.
besar. aku suka. masih bersih dan bergetah.
tapi aircon tak cukup kuat ah Keng. bilik tu besar tu. tak cukup power aircon tu. unless ko letak lagi 2 kipas kasi angin air con tu distributed.
kitaorang ada 1 guitar saja. so takde la kecoh sgt nak balance kan bunyi. .. aku pun tatau term term teknikalnya, but kesimpulan... semua instruments boleh dengar.. and telinga aku tak berdesing bila lepas jam. overall.. everybody seems to like it.
cuma.. lokasi saja yg tak berapa sesuai utk kami datang ke situ selalu.
definitely recommed you guys to try it out.
apalagi.. i-bands jam session la jom.
tapi aku nak nyanyi.. hehe

appreciate the comments... good & bad
yea... was worried about the air-conditioning. the contractor yg buat renovation suggested to use a 2 horsepower aircon but... budget tak cukop... so i installed a 1.5 horsepower instead. i have a few box fans.... so not to worry... the nex time you guys come there will definitely be more fans in the studio
i chosed to open the studio kat tmn desa cuz at the moment there are not many studios around that area.... plus it's about 10 mins drive from my home in bangsar. it's abit hard to find for those of you who're not familiar with this part of KL but for me... it's pretty safe. noticed that there are so many street lights around the place plus the taukeh on the ground floor switches on quite a number of lights every night.
the 1st time i saw ossuary was in a gig in 1999 in One Utama. Together with Custom Daisy, Foreground Division & a few others. Whoa.... they totally blew me away! probably the most tightest set i've seen performed by a local band (if you count s'poreans as local lah) |
