looking for permanent bassist, drummer, guitarist, strings, pianist, percussionist, vocalist,whatever....you get the picture.
Here are the qualities I'm looking for in a bassist/drummer/singer/whatever.
Ability/Talent:
Singer-I'm looking for someone who can sing well. "Sing" ok...not scream - Charisma and a strong voice with a good range. A wide array of influences is VERY important. No Mike Patton clones please.
Bassist/guitarist/strings/keyboardist-Someone who can compliment my guitars with their own fresh ideas. You got to be tricky/creative with your riffs and shock the audience.
Drummer/percussionist-Someone who's flexible and able to play all kinds of beats.
Creativity/Imagination/Originality:
I want someone with their own style and who are "outside the box". Part of my music does not follow the beaten path (verse, chorus, verse, etc.) so you'll need to be able to approach the music with a creative attitude. Your input is important, but there will be times when lyrics/melodies/vocal patterns are written by another member, so you'll need to be okay with that.
Great Stage Presence/Energetic:
You need to be outgoing and able to engage a crowd. The more energy, the better. I do not want a guy who is standing in one place gripping the microphone stand and too shy to talk to an audience. Its all about communication.
Friendly/Personable:
I would like someone who is down-to-earth with no attitude - someone I can kick back with. Negative or cocky, ego-centric crack heads with chips on their shoulders that are pissed at the music scene need not apply.
150% Dedication:
I'm SERIOUS and I need someone that will put Flirting With Sleep at the top of it's priorities. Wives, children, and mortgages may become issues. This is hard work! No flakes please.
Other Stuff:
Must have own instruments. No crackheads.i don't really stick to a certain genre or whatever you call it....if it sounds good.rock on...and o yeah..i'm not good at all.still learnin too...so...i don't care if you're crap on your instrument...
Influences include:
anything man....i don't care...just as long as we play well together...alls good.

Don't worry if the music is not the same style as FWS- I'll be listening to your ability/range only. hehe ya memang lah music supposed to be fun but how can you have fun if members tak layan hehe..
hmm im gonna post a new track up soon.so from there you try record over my stuff with your guitar/vocal/bass/whatever parts.if i like it then see how lah from there...maybe can hang out and jam.you can mess around with the tracks availble now if you want. im still waiting for liquidjive's vocals for my "Poor Me" track hehe..
just give me an info bout yerself first or something...
