for me, i am a total sloppy joe when it comes to the art of soloing. shredding is alien to me. playing from the heart? comes on certain moments. memang hampeh le main. oblivious to all certain kind of techniques. but i still continue to learn on my own pace.

Yeah man!
Aku sampai sekarang dok curi teknik from everybody(including beginners) dan try personalise kan benda tu supaya jadi lain sikit. The learning process never stops.
Oh yes...kepada sesiapa yg minat dia more to feel than shred, check out this radio station:

These are all independent musicians...and they prefer to concentrate more on feel rather than speed...but of course lots of them can shred like anything if they want to...Bob Melanson for instance...dan banyak lagi guitarists in the list yg aku minat... |

He he he...dulu2 masa aku teringin sangat nak jadi sessionist, aku solo dlm lagu 'Mariah Carey'- 'All In Your Mind'...sebab ada 8 bar kosong dlm lagu tu...dapat la berangan jadi Steve Lukather/Michael Landau kejap...  ...sedih nya...
Talking about feel again...in the Metallica song 'Nothing Else Matters'...when I first heard the solo, I when...wow...I really dig Kirk's feel in this one...only to find out that it was James Hetfield who played the solo! Even though Kirk' is amazing with his techniqes and stuff, I still prefer Hetfield's soloing, even though he's known as a rhythm player. I saw a short video of him jamming blues at a club...and I like the way he solos
Similarly...remember Scorpions? Amongst the most memorable (and definitely a classic) solos performed in their songs was the solo in 'Still Loving You'. And that was played by Rudolph Schenker, also supposedly a rhythm guy. But of course, Matthias Jabs is a damn hot guitarist...I love his playing very much.

biasale la, cari makan punye pasal. quite busy because the project time line is pretty tight. gotta perform la baru2 keje ni. anyway, pasal lagu baru takde. tapi recording lagu2 jamming ada la.
