| hi guys.. i'm quite new here.. but i need information pasal home recordin, sbnr aku x brp phm ape yg korg bincang2kan kat forum.. so, just utk basic setup recordin.. aku cuma ada.. software2, 1 pc and a squire guitar with a laney hardcore amp.. sape buleh tolong bagi cadangan for setup.. and i've got about 200 sumthin for any additional hardware/tool... |

hmmm.
Aku rasa yang first kene decide la camne ko nak bawa masuk sound guitar ko masuk computer.
-utk guitar ko bleh;
1. Record direct masuk soundcard atau
2. Record pakai pakai mic.
For me option 2 gets the best sound la tapi leceh sikit la nak setup.
Pas tu ko kene decide software mane ko nak pakai untuk edit sound tu semua, aku pakai adobe audition je utk semua editing ngan mixing. Kat sini ramai pakai Nuendo aku rasa, atau soundforge. Aku pakai adobe sebab memang dah biasa pakai dari dulu, dan sebab aku pakai minimal effects dalam computer..effects semua aku pakai guitar rig. ADobe is not as sofistikated as other software untuk buat sound editing sebab option tak banyak(itu orang cakap la). It works for me so aku tak terpikir nak cari software lain.

hmm dgn extra RM200, aku suggest tambah lagi RM50, beli mixer murah mcm Behringer Eurorack UB-802 seperti yg digunakan oleh hero-hero kat i-bands nih heheh... pastu boleh setup mcm aku punya setup:
tapi instead of GFX-5, ko pakai la Laney Hardcore amp tu... mixer nih berguna pasal in the future kalau ko nak record vocals pulak, ko boleh pakai microphone yg condenser punya, cucuk kat mixer ni sebelum sambung terus ke soundcard...
tak pon invest sikit lagi utk beli proper audio card...

hye.. thanx.. aku pernah try pakai jack dr guitar utk ke computer tp mcm x menjadi sbb 1st, ader elctric shock kat guitar string, 2nd, effect utk guitar ( guna software) x sebagus amp.. kalo pakai mic, mic ape paling bagus n mesti x dapat clean sound guitar kan?

| yea, sekurang-kurang nye cari la mixer. Kau dapat shock tu aku tak tahu pesal la..tapi kalau takde mixer ko silap2 bleh bagi rosak soundcard ko. Resistance level utk guitar tinggi sangat so kene ada bende than go in between ur guitar output ngan soundcard input nak bagi selaras dia punya resitance levels. Pasal mic tu, depends la .. i use 2 mic setup, Shure 57 and a Apex Condensor mic. Theres a thread somewhere kat sini cite pasal jenis2 mic i think. Ko search ah.. |

Boleh aja.. kat amp ko tu mesti ada output utk headphone.. haa lobang tu boleh guna dari amp ke pc cucuk kat line in pada soundcard..
kalau ko guna condenser mic utk capture sound guitar ko..mmg bagus tp leceh sikit la. Selain dari kena beli mic tu yg agak mahal, pastu....
1. Ko kena ada XLR port utk cucuk mic tu. Soundcard yg biasa2 ni tak ada port tu. So ko kena beli proper soundcard utk recording. Paling murah dlm 3-4 ratus. ataupun beli mixer yg ada XLR port utk cucuk mic tu. Cost tu beb!
2. Kesan akustik.. kalau bilik ko punya sound proof tak bagus.. mmg ada effect pada sound guitar yg direkod nanti. Bunyi2 pantulan akan masuk sekali dlm mic ko tu dan rekod sekali. Tapi kalau ko suka sound mcm tu.. then go for it. Its subjective..
Memandangkan ko pun baru nak berjinak2 so spend less money dulu.. bila ko dah tau apa yg ko perlukan baru la kira budget.
aku cadangkan ko search dulu thread2 kat forum audio recording ni ttg basic utk home recording.
sekian dari yg jahil utk yg jahil..haha
