The Yamaha R&D dudes also come out with loads of goofy products!
First, there was the super-expensive G10 MIDI guitar (had a go at it in the early '90s) which bombed!
Then they came out with the Silent Guitar, which understandably fell on deaf ears!
And not so long ago, there was the EZAG electric guitar... a toy axe that allowed you to play piano, sax, strings etc. Needless to say, it flopped as well!

The only guy who seemed have mastered the G10 was Josie Thomas, who unfortunately abandoned it just when he seemed poised to take off to another galaxy with the power on tap at his fingertips. |
