Marshall Jackhammer JH-1
To me this is the most versatile pedal dan paling memenuhi taste aku buat masa ni. Pedal ni ada Distortion dan Overdrive mode. Aku bukak dlm dia ada 2 board. Ada EQ(bass dan trebble), Contour yg variable ke bass,mid atau treble(ala2 parametric EQ), dan Frequency utk smoothen the tone mcm tube atau ke high attack mcm solid state. So aku tak payah beli EQ pedal.
Pastu dia guna system passive by pass. So kalau pedal is not in use, signal tak lalu board but direct port to port. So walaupun tak pasang battery dan adapter, sound clean tetap keluar. Pasang cable terbalik kat input/output pun sound keluar jugak.. Kelebihannya sound clean tak akan berubah.
Dgn amp Peavey Audition 30watt made in US aku (amp pinjam je) dan Fender Strat (S-S-S pickup), aku boleh dpt sound yg dekat dgn sound Jimi Hendrix, SRV, Kenny Wayne Shepperd, Pearl Jam dan Ritchie Blackmore. takde la sebiji sgt tp ala2 dekat gitu.
I installed my strat with SD Hot for strat pickup at bridge for big humbucker tone but with single coil punch. So at distortion mode of the JH-1 i can get a heavy sound with warm and clear high note dan cocentrated low note. I was very satisfied with the sound when try to play Dream Theatre's Overture 1928 intro riff. i can hear every note. Cowboys from hell pun tak mengecewakan. I mean the tone tp gain single coil mmg takkan dapat sebakul mcm real humbucker pickup heheh..
Kelemahan pedal ni pada aku ialah its not a plug n play pedal because it has 7 knobs. So kalau yg terlalu beginner pakai ni boleh pening jugak dan tak dpt keluar sound yg bagus. Knobs paling penting pd pedal ni ialah Contour dan frequency. Itu 2 knobs boleh hasilkan bunch of tones.

Marshall JH-1 boleh dpt sound metal zone(sebab ada contour knob) dan dekat dgn sound DS-1(cuma sound lebih tajam sikit but boleh smoothen guna contour dan frequency knob).
Aku baca review kat harmony central yg katanya Jh-1 ni kalau pakai kat peavey amps.. sound buruk. Tapi aku test kat peavey kat rumah aku tu ok jer(aku pun tak tau sound buruk mcm mana..subjektif ni).
Aku pun ada DS-1 satu.. sound best tp itu hanya distortion nak dpt sound SRV dgn Jimi susah sikit. Terlalu warm dan kalau ko naikkan lagi Tone knob kat DS-1 tu, bass frequency pulak dan sacrificed. Kecuali kalau kita ada lagi satu EQ pedal baru boleh add bass frequency.. But JH-1 is 3 in one: Overdrive, Distortion dan EQ.
Zid aku bukan install 'hotrail' aku install 'hot'. hotrail adalah mini humbucker but hot is true single coil. Kalau ko nak test JH-1 boleh tp ko giliran yg ke-3 la ok..ehhehe ..acah je.. dtg le rumah aku kat serdang ni oi..

Beli mmg kat bentley tp aku beli dari member aku rm250 hari tu. Dia baru pakai 5-6 bulan. Harga asal RM380 tak silap aku..
aku pun nak tolak pickup ni sebab nak pakai pickup yg betul2 sound nipis single coil. Aku skrg dah tak main heavy rythm sgt so pickup ni mcm dah kurang sesuai utk aku. Ada sesapa berminat?

hahah baru aku tau apa keuntungan ko tu....its JMP-1 !!! mmg untung la ko.. rare tu beb.. riki lego kat aku je la TS808 ko tu.. dah untung besar tu bersedekah la pada org tak berkemampuan mcm aku ni.. hehe

bila kau angkat jmp-1, bro? caya lah. dlm casing rack tu boleh boh lagi 6. can't wait to see what else you wanna put in that REDUCED rig of yours tu.
the marshall is a valvestate v100R. nak pearl jam, ts9 (on/off dep on song) and OD1. nak metal apakejadah, ts9 and OD2. ge7 only bila pakai xingxiao 'custom' strat yg maha cabok tapi suka.
err... at the mo, GT3 tak pakai.
