Appreciate your kind words, and we are currently working on another track. Hopefully this time around we can squeeze everything in so 'Melayan MODE' (if any) can be prolonged.
Bhuna has requested that he plays shorter solos this time around, which I commend. I think it's the whole mantra of "It's not what you play, it's what you don't play" with him. We're listening to a lot of the older stuff at the mo - J.J. Cale, Robert Johnson, Albert & Freddie King, Magic Sam, T-Bone etc who, I think, adopt that same mantra. Trying to fuse it with something new-er (Claptone, Lang). Hopefully it turns out OK.
And pali is right. We're being spread over three different continents, hence the slow turnout pace. But it'll pick up soon, I'm sure. |

By the time we finished recording this, Murg went for half a day without a voice, and Bhuna could barely scribble the word 'whiskey' onto the tarmac with his bleeding fingers...
... while someone like Buddy Guy makes it sound so easy.
We're planning on another cover (possibly Bell Bottom Blues by Derek & The Dominoes) and a brand new original in a few weeks/months. (Haha)

Sebenarnye dia nak bagitau yg dia main gitar setaraf dgn delta bluesman dari Mississippi.
Baru laaaa betul kan?

We've decided to re-record the vocals and mix it differently. Errmmm... we're still learning the tricks and trade of production and are having a good time working our way through it. So, if you want, please re-download the song as we have replaced it with the latest mix.

i don't know bout others but i think the solo is a little bit too pan to the right. it doesn't give that full overwhelmed 'feel' listening to the solo.
