While I have nothing against Lenny Kravitz, he was hardly what I had in mind when I came up this do-it-quickly-or-drop-it fuzzfest! If anything, I was hoping to evoke a Black Sabbath feel, which is why I decided to add a second wah-wah guitar to this revised version:

<b>Hey You War Starter!<b> (Sabbathian version)

About a dozen, not including those out of commission because of abuse or breakage by girlfriends (I'm not making this up!), especially a Charvel with locking Kahler trem (I too had metal ambitions!) I bought in New York in the '80s.

The collection (most used axes listed first):

1. Fender American Standard Strat ('89)
2. Gibson SG 61 Reissue ('91)
3. Fender Mexican Standard Strat with SD pups
4. Yamaha AEX1500 archtop
5. Takamine EN18 (electro-acoustic)
6. Yamaha FG431s (acoustic)
7. Gibson Les Paul Standard ('92)
9. Yamaha SA2200 semi-hollow electric
10. Fender Highway One Telecaster
11. Wave resonator guitar (acoustic)
12. Washburn mandolin (not exactly a guitar, but I tend to play it like one!)

On the song, I used the Am Strat and SG (wah-wah bits). Cool

No, leave the bass to me. My guitar playing is good... only for my own songs!

Anyway, ability has nothing to do with how many guitars you have. And usually, it's the guys who just have one guitar who're better and more imaginative players than those with a sinfully huge collection of axes! Wink

I had to work like a slave and save for 10 years to buy those guitars. But all that sweat and tears was worth it! Razz
