Kena berbalik pada kategori ko la.. kalau ko seorang teknikal guitarist, so seberapa susah dan pelik punya teknik yg ko dapat main adalah tahap kehebatan permainan ko. Kalau ko soul guitarist, how effective can u deliver your solo yang menentukan level permainan ko.. So its subjective la pada aku.
Tapi teknik tetap diperlukan utk deliver solo cuma semasa delivering tu apa yg ko paling fikirkan? 'keberkesanan' atau 'kedahsyatan'? Level tertinggi pada aku kalau dapat combine kedua2nya secara semulajadi.
'Kedahsyatan' boleh dapat melalui practice.. tp 'keberkesanan' bergantung pada tahap kesenian dan kreativiti yg ada dalam diri ko.. tahap kesenian ni boleh dipupuk dengan pengalaman dan pendedahan contohnya macam dengar lagu banyak2..
itu je pendapat aku utk soalan ko..
p/s: dlm lagu steve vai "For The Love Of God" ko rasa dia pentingkan 'keberkesanan' ke 'kedahsyatan'? _________________ Gelanggang guitar : http://guitarden.starahead.com |

yeah actually this is pretty subjective..
it depends where do you want to set the "standard"..in other words ...
how is guitar playing considered "shred" ?
for me..i do not consider this guitarist (which often people call them "shredders" ) a shredder
Zakk Wylde
Kirk Hammet
Marty Friedman
Joe Satriani
Steve Vai
Van Halen _________________ gapnap.com

what is 'shred' anyway?
to me shred is 'extract into small pieces' or in malay 'kupasan yg halus'(ye la kot..) hehehe...
so in guitar world we can say that shred means many notes in a bar. Is that means only arpegeos and alternate picking does take account? but of course speed is required.
----------
there are also batch..
the shredders in early 80s technique and style was different if compare to early 90s and even to nowadays shredders. I consider Ritchie Blackmore as a shredder in his time and also Jimi Hendrix... hahaha...
ok thats my opinion and its good you have yours.. _________________ Gelanggang guitar : http://guitarden.starahead.com |

do they pass gapster? hehe..
gapster.. will you attend the clinic? i respect what you enjoy most but if u can take that shred condition aside, i think u will learn something from Gary Hoey or even from everybody that probably good for expanding your shredibility. I was excited to neo shredding during my early days but who knows now i prefer to listen to guitarist like Mark Knopfler, SRV, roben ford etc.. hahah lawak tak? _________________ Gelanggang guitar : http://guitarden.starahead.com |
