Gretsch has collaborated with U2 front man Bono (Oh, no!) to create an updated version of the iconic green Gretsch guitar known as the Irish Falcon. Gracing the stages of the current U2 Vertigo tour, the new G6136I guitar incorporates classic Gretsch Falcon appointments, along with a lustrous Irish Green finish.
Built to Bono's own exacting specifications, this single cutaway, 17" hollow body electric guitar features a laminated maple construction, 2-piece maple neck with ebony fingerboard and mother-of-pearl "hump block" position markers. It comes with two high sensitive Filter'Tron pickups, and "tone-switch" circuitry with Master Volume.
Complementing the Irish Green finish are a gold Cadillac "G" tailpiece, gold hardware, gold sparkle binding, gold Grover Imperial machine heads and a pickguard graphic declaring that "The Goal is Soul"!

i think the guitar has a lot of attraction if you play it on the stage..hehe
it look quite weird and i like unnatural thing .. hahaha.. but for US4,500? hmm if the return value higher than purchasing price..i would consider it..why not? huhuuuu.. _________________ Gelanggang guitar : http://guitarden.starahead.com |
