Groove Tools is a good one.. not cheap...but good...
Or you could try Native Instruments Battery - is what I use... to listen to Battery in action go to http://www.i-bands.net/audiovault/ridzi and click on the 'Music' link

Yeah I use Fruity Loops too. Quite easy to use, but programming is super tedious (like all drum software!).
If you can find any wav samples of acoustic drums, you can easily assign it in FL and then you'd get pretty realistic sounds.
The only problem is that FL is unable to support multi-tempo songs. |

Sudah tentu Cubase la...sebab satu, dia ada built-in MIDI drum editor. Groove Agent VST atau Native Instruments Battery adalah yang terbaik IMHO. Tapi semuanya bergantung pada kualiti drum sample ko la...kalau boleh dapatkan yang multi velocity/multisampled punya... baru ko boleh control dynamics dia..baru bole sound more authentic..
Basically Cubase controls the MIDI drum editor which triggers the sampler....where the sampler has to be loaded with your samples..

Ape khabo semua?
i'm new here....sila beri tunjuk ajar..
pasal FL studio tu...
setahu aku...u can have multi tempo but susah sikit.
right click the tempo button and select the edit event window, just edit there.but it's not as precise as cubase...no quantization i guess.
It works like the automation function.
Remeber u have to edit on the Automation track/pattern.
correct me if i'm wrong.
Used to use it a lot
but now using cubase SX ... using Sampletank VSTi's drums.
The software comes free with my Audiophile card.
haven't try out Groove Agent,sigh.
but still FL studio it's a great software IMHO, walaupon banyak "profesionals" think it's kiddie stuff...LOLz
cheers, |

FL drum track samples are so midi-ish IMHO
n i agree that it is very tedious to program in FL
elendare, try this place in IMBI, they have lotsa computer music software. 1st floor, from the escalator, turn left to the end where u see a PS2 shop, then turn right. _________________ [ Call The Paramedics ] |

about the sound
it depends on the samples ur using.
If not u can also load up other VSTi to be use.
I agree it's quite tedious to creat "realistic" drums patterns, but for beginners who are trying to program drums...it's ok..IMHO |
