To all those who've already sent MP3s to ibands@gmail.com, rest assured that WE'VE GOT THEM ALL!
But the 2gig-plus space is being filled up VERY FAST, so don't wait too long if you want to be a part of the hippest indie music release in Malaysia this year.

It's hard to say at this stage how many songs the CD can accommodate, but, assuming everyone sticks to the 4-minute limit at the suggested bitrate, we expect to find space for at least 100 songs.
Also, in the interest of maintaining a fully representative mix of genres, we may only choose one song by each band/artist in the more popular styles.
As a reminder to those dying to find out if we've received their songs, please DON'T send enquiry emails to the same address! We're already having a big problem with spammers -- didn't realize i-bands.net had such a wide & immense reach! -- who've been bombarding us with all sorts of infuriating junkmail. Thank you for your cooperation on this.

If you already have an i-bands account, send your MP3s (two songs per artist/band) to ibands@gmail.com . As for the live audition, relax dude! There's no need for that... yet! As long as you feel you've done your best in recording music that bares your soul and shows off your skills, we'd be more than happy to consider it.
