kalo antor dlm bentuk kaset ngan cd pastu, submit sendiri atas dasar inisiatif dan bersungguh-sungguh. tapi, kenapa pakai address po box? bende yg nak di hantor tu fragile gak. kenapa tak by hand kalo bebetul inisiatif? dari segi copyright walaupun takde cop copyright... apa jaminan ultra hingax ni? kitorang bole antor tapi dengan basic kualiti je disebabkan persoalan2 di atas. ni kalo bebtu inisiatif tapi baru nak antor esok... kalo pakai poslaju... po box bole terima ke?

Aku baru je ke website metal terus, dan masa aku tengah baca review album kat situ ada satu statement by the reviewer....
"P/s Beli album ni.. Wajib dude! kalau takde duit? trade cdr!"..
WTF?!! Patut ke kita menggalakkan piracy... I think Whoever the editor is whould remove statements like that. I know, people do it anyway, But we don't want our local scene to be known as one that encourages blatant piracy.

statement tu kene tanya editor dia la  .. nanti aku usulkan kat editor dia.. tapi kenkadang trade ni bagus jugak.. yg tak bagus menjual cdr.. trade kira exchange la.. ko ada elbem A aku ada elbem B.. so ko dub aku dub.. kita trade.. yg tu aku rasa fair.. tapi yg jenis aku ada elbem A aku dub jual RM5 tu aku tak stuju ..
anyway pasal compilation ni.. after closing date kitorang dapat 24 submission.. letih jugak la nak select.. since cuma ade 10 kekosongan je untuk volume 1 ni.. nanti aku update senarai band after everything dah finalize..

trade CD tak salah. dulu2 mmg selalu bikin. but yg salahnya.. .. aku ada CD band A (band A bukan band aku)... ko ada CD band B (pun bukan band ko), then masing2 burn copies..and trade.
kalau trade original copies... or the trading done by the bands themselves.. then this is an ok scenario in my book.
(anyway, dulu diorang main trade copies of dubbing cassettes! with photostated cassettes sleeves hehe)
ada Bands yg benarkan lagu diorang di distribute freely.. so have to check lah.
btw nslave.. nanti dah siap Comp. ni kasitau aku lah. kita trade promo space.

Pada aku la trade CDr ni (unless bootleg konsert) tak boleh, ini macam download MP3 la....artis tu penat-penat je record lagu, tulis riff best gila bagai nak rak, kita senang-senang je nak bagi free (+ kos cdr) kat orang lain. Thats like stealing. Aku memang sokong 100% usaha RIAA nak membendung MP3 downloads dengan Napster (dan lain-lain), atas sebab yang sama jugak la...
Unless the artist specifically allows this to happen, then its wrong to trade songs. Kalau kita tengok kat Copyright notice kat CD's selalunya ada tulis "Unauthorized copying, reproduction, hiring, lending, public performance and broadcasting prohibited". I think those word explains itself....
