Hello guys.
Nak tanya nie. Guitar aku ada string buzzing kat B dan G string. Dua2 kat fret ke 6. What should I do?  |

refretting is a possible solution but only if its the frets were the problem. other possible causes include problem with the nut, low saddle height and warping of the neck (pray that THIS is not the case).
so, bring it to a professional guitar repairer/luthier/whatever to sort it out, esp if its the neck truss rod needs adjusting. benda ni kalau tak reti buat (truss rod) its highly recommended that yuo dont go DIY on it! since you are there get your guitar setup properly, it'll play beautifully after that.

Thanks for the reply guys. 
Firstly, apa tu 'refretting'? And apa maksud 'fretwire dah haus'?
Huhu.. aku mmg tak tahu sangat benda2 nie. Camna aku nk identify apa problem yang cause string buzz ek. Sebab neck terlebih bengkok atau tak cukup bengkok?
Aku ada tanya pasal ni (siap bawak guitar aku lagi) kat satu guitar store kat area aku. Tanya pasal truss-rod adjustment/intonation. Dia mcm tak reti buat jek atau pun malas nak layan aku kot cuz mungkin kerja tu melecehkan. Dia suruh tukar string baru, ok fine aku suruh dia tukar. Buzz tu hilang. Tapi esoknya, ada balik. Hampas kelapa!!  |

Aku suggest ko bawak pegi setup. I don't think kena refret the whole neck. Masa setup tu dia akan betulkan truss rod, betulkan intonation bla-bla... Ko pegi guitar Store kat cheras. Ask for Chan. Rasa aku a full setup can cost you up to RM200, depending on the packages you choose.
By the refretting to tukar ko punya fret wirela....

don't ever go to guitar shops like that again! ini nampak gaya dia tak tau, tapi buat2 macam 'tau'.

woah.. tak sangka aku, adjustment nie boleh makan dekat RM200!! Buat masa ni aku takda duit lagi utk semua tu. Is it possible kalau kita adjust sendiri? Risiko dia mcm mana um?

RM150 for a full setup including refretting,intonation..bla..everything!
refretting means -leveling up all the frets to be even.if you fret isn't even it may cause alot of buzzing

risiko dia utk adjust benda2 mcm saddle height is minimum, provided you can remember adjust how to adjust balik if that doesn't solve the problem. mcm truss rod, kalau silap, guitar tu dah tak guna seduit. tong sampah mari. go figure.

kalau kau dekat area² Gombak/Ulu Kelang, bawak ke Klasik'A. jumpa btader named GG. so far, for me i think he is one of the best guitar tech in Malaysia.
i sent all of my guitars there and all came back perfect! in fact acoustic aku yg dulunya sounded less appealing than a Xingxiao Kapok pun skrg is much much much better!
i simply put it; he gives life to guitars laa... and he just charges RM150 for all these!

the last i heard that dude charges alot of money!
