aku rase kurg worth it! coz if u shop around some more u can get much much lesser! i mean the 'american' version...
if u can get a small clone at around 40 quid is ood enuff! any EH more than that is crap... if it's a 'russian' then bayar 30 quid pun dah cukup mahal...
since when berminat nak berkecimpung dalam arena stompboxes nie? who's going to defend multi-fx then? keh... keh... keh...

hello geng,
emmm..half of the reason why i started playing the guitar is because of the stompbox(particularly distortion pedals).i cud still remember the day when i bought my first pedal,which was the BOSS DS-1.
(I think it was among the best moments in my life.... and still is.)
Soon after that,my life changed .I began to get REALLY obssesed with stomboxes.There's some nice feeling about those lil' gadgets which is really hard to put in words.....and being a stompbox junkie at that time,I spent all my scholarships trying to complete the dream pedalboard o mine...............
long story short:
9 years later,as i grew older and as so many technology takes in.....I cudnt careless whether its a stombox or multifx(or anything for that matter)
These days I pretty much play anything i can get my hands on.
I dun care whether its an analog or digital anymore.
To me,good tone is still a good tone.Yes i knoe...digital kekadang bunyi macam tahi.....but analog can also be too boring and traditional at times.
So,i guess,the point I'm trying to make is,I like BOTH digital and analog.....and I have nuthing to fear about new technologies and ideas.
-just stating my mind-
p/s:Im in no way trying to trash analog tools.....because i knoe preferences are totally justified.

59 quid aku jumpa kat website yg advert dia atas screen i-bands.net ni. looks like huzaimi's..tu american kan? as in shop around you mean ebay la...aiyo ni wa malas ni.. sejak bila aku minat? yg ko dgn imran dok cucuk suruh beli dd3 la, tremodillo la...tarak ingat ka? adik aku kasi boss eq ge7 and dod compression/sustainer. so ada la sikit..tak mcm sun redd sun tu..hehehehe...radiohead pun pengsannn daa..btw, aku tweaked the gt3 eq utk patches for the '58 (ahemMMM!!!!) strat..copied what i did on the boss ge7. manis dan lemak berkrim!! semalam kat sheffield steel guitars ada 70s strat (classic punya line)..500aje..sial tak?

kalau mcm huzaimi's should be an american laa coz the russians would've been black in colour. but i think the black ones nampak lebih vintage... hehehehehe!
i've always thought digital tools have their own advantages... but i dont seem to enjoy it. hehe...

Im not sure how true this is ...but i heard the casing for the Russian Big Muffs are made aout of the body of de-commissioned Russian tanks...

the russian one is cheaper. are they of the same quality?
imran recommended rocktron (the one that he has).
semalam lepak main 70s strat jap dia. sedap..wish we could have played it louder but his housemate next door was studying hard...damn.
dengar some blues track dia jam dgn budak us ni sorang..panassss!!!

I have 3 versions of the Muff
a)Russian Version
b)American Version
c)Modded Version (Sustainpunch Version)
The Russian one is shoddily built actually. the post are made out of plastic and it doesnt come with a DC current plug...(I think you can get it modded) The Battery Holder is designed to slice you fingers to shreds..
The American version is much better built...they are built at their factory in New York as far as i remember.
Sound wise the Russian one is noisier...and each unit can sound different from the other..i think due to lax quality control.
The American one has a smoother, even sound.
but the best one is the Sustainpunch modded version...smooth creamy rich distortion... use a E-bow and you litterally turn your guitar into a violin!!
I also have an updated version of the modded Muff and its called the Creamy Dreamer..but that's a completely different pedal, although they are based on the Big Muffs... trouble is Sustainpunch pedals are so hard to get hold of...their website is always down

yep... totally agree with what ridzi said!
well, i only have one EH pedal; the 'russian-made' bassball. i havent tried the american version but like everyone would say, its MUCH better! but i think i'd be nicely compensated with just the russian...
oh yeah... that blues track with that Uda Bahar (SDARian/American) guy! is it called 'hunger'? or maybe other tracks. he's good!
msn? my new-office pc lacks the technology it needs to run MSN smoothly, ifuknowhaddamsayin?
ridzi dude... about the tank thing; it'd be awesome if it's true! but i dont think so... but come to think of it, there are some possibilities though...

kudz: i think i prefer small clone laa... the sound is a bit more defined! but at the end of the day, it's jez a chorus pedal! i think a cheap one would sound jez okay... but pedal with brand is guaranteed longer life & durability!
the univibe tu takde laa rare mana, not if we compared with that tremodillo. coz univibe is under jim dunlop and tremodillo is under diaz co.(boutique pedal, mcm fulltone; one man army, small company). but i think the price (univibe) is a bit ridiculous... thats why org jarang pakai & hence the so-called 'rarity'... (i guessed laa...). but the sound's gorgeous laa...
