this is what i read: "Some pedals such as wahs require an AC line noise filter to work best when adding an AC adapter jack."

macam ni la..
kalau dah puas hati tak usah la MOD.. mod ni utk orang2 yang selalu tak puas hati dengan benda yg dia dapat.. mcm aku tak puas hati dgn GDB-95 ni punya noise dan sweep frequency.
dulu aku ada pakai JH-1 ni lagi tak puas hati sebab frequency range dia lebih kepada bass.. so aku pulangkan balik..
kalau aku tau aku angkat je JH-1 tu pastu mod.. hehhe

corret  .. tat wat i heard..... dunno how izzit, let try to add the power jack first.

mine s v847 reissue ... but if we meet up.. need to buy the components... i going to replace the pot with fulltone which cost 25usd!.... and truebypass + led, drilling holes.. blah blha |

hahaha lawak la korang... Gempak la, Hampeh la, Terrer la.. tak perasan la pulak ada huruf2 tu kat wah lama aku... ke dia apply kat model GCB saja? aku punya x-wah dulu Crybaby 535BB... BB = Barang Baik!

wow.. what's so great about those Fulltone pots? that's about RM100  and to add an LED to the vox wah you must have the 3PDT switch, am i right?
anyway, i'm not sure about my V-847 wheter it's the re-issue or not. Paid about US$90 for it on eBay and i bet the seller did not include the box, manual and vinyl carrying case  this is what my vox looks like:

Emm.. klu macam nie kena mod lah. Memang Jh-1 high freq range tak meluas. |

anyway aku baru beli komponen2 elektrikal yg diperlukan.. kos tak sampai rm2 pun..
tapi aku beli chip utk mod TS-9 aku sekali. Aku beli dua jenis, RC4558 dgn JRC4558.. RM2 je setiap satu..

aku dah selesai mod wah wah GCB-95.. tapi tak dapat nak bezakan sound .. mcm sama tapi ada lain sikit..bila aku rock down the wah.. frequency dia jatuh sikit dan lebih bassy.. kalau aku push up.. frequency masih sama sebab aku tak replace resistor utk high frequency punya.. aku rasa yg stock punya high frequency dah ok..
So skrg wah aku punya range lebih besar dari low frequency yg lebih lower dari stock dan high frequency yg agak tinggi.(mungkin akan ditukar kemudian)

yeah,... u need 3pdt.
btw... fulltone very good lar... jsut change the pot only... a significant big different!... now right.. the sound like crap....doesnt sound nice....
PS:.. i bought my wah from ebay... only 60usd

use JRC lar.. RC sound abit.. kurang baik daripada JRc.. trust me.. i TRied all the chip hahahaha... |

just finished mod my Jackhammer. Jackhammer has 3 chips so i replaced the chips with JRC4558, RC4558 and TL072CP (stock chip). Amazingly the noise now is in minimum amount.
here is the sample impromtu clips of my moded Jackhammer + moded GCB95 crybaby.
Setup is: Copy Strat-> GCB95-->marshall Jackhammer--> pc soundcard(cheap soundblaster live) --> sonar cakewalk delay

will standardize the chip to JRC4558 soon to reduce the noise..
am looking forward to replace inductor(to eliminate muddy sound from the wah) and upgrade Hot Pot for soon..
