Hi guys..I'm having trouble uploading our songs onto i-bands..it must be my poor connection speed, but anyway..we managed to record a 6 track EP and we've uploaded 4 of the songs on our myspace, and 2 on purevolume. Please check em out and if it's not too troublesome, give some constructive criticism/feedback on each of the songs. These can be found at:

www.myspace.com/aborderlinemixtape
www.purevolume.com/aborderlinemixtape

Thanks!

you guys rock! you gotta just love Lollypop! Your music is reminiscent of Stones Roses, Inspiral Carpets, Soup Dragons..the sorta minimalistic alternate brit pop that 'almost' made it to mainstream..theres some Manic Street Preachers somewhere there too...get a CD out dudes, cos ill get it. Very Happy
cool..

Thanks for the kind words! You really lifted up our spirits! I've only heard 2 out of the 4 bands you mentioned haha. If you're really interested in hearing our EP, please feel free to mail your address at a_mixtape@yahoo.co.uk and we can post the EP to your doorstep Smile

We're really glad you enjoyed them! We recorded those songs at Sonic Station Studios (I think it's in Bukit Damansara).

We've also set up a purevolume page so you guys could check out the other 2 songs on the EP, but the page isn't ready yet.

Could someone please review each of the songs? We'd like to know how to improve songwriting skills/ideas etc. cos we're gonna start writing new material soon. Thanks!

Edit: We've uploaded songs on both i-bands and purevolume already
