orang tua jek yg takleh terima pembaharuan.
Is ko ni dah tua ah.
aku tak kisah ah band2 metal ni drum betul ke programming dlm recording but utk Live I still prefer to see live drummer beraksi on stage! when I go and see a show.. I want to see people PLAY the instruments. but kalau dengar CD..aku bukan nampak pun.. so tak kisah ah. ni semata2 nak pure punya pasal..recording berkecah.. hehe camner?
anyway.. ni pendapat masing2.

Since ini ruangan pendapat, so tak perlulah kita ban pendapat orang lain. Perbezaan adalah utk dihormati. Setiap orang ada perspektif dan pengalaman berbeza yang menyebabkan hipotesisnya jadi berbeza.
Cuma pada pendapat aku, drum machine ni cuma alat utk trigger drum samples saja. Sound samada sedap atau tak tu bergantung pada 'sample drum'(bunyi drum yg telah direkod) tu. Ada orang, kalau bagi dia drum machine 'chokia' pun dia boleh kasi sedap sebab dia tau mcmana nak sedapkan drum sample tu.
Sama jugak kalau main real drum, kalau miking tak bagus, sound pun jadi tak sedap dan hasilnya tak sedap dan tak pure juga..
Kesimpulannya DRUM MACHINE atau REAL DRUMMER adalah sama secara 'fungsinya' iaitu THE TRIGGER.

I am opened minded about any instrument usage in any type of music including metal. I may not be a metal fan as I used to be in the late 80s but I still enjoy Sepultura, Napalm Death, etc once in a while..especially when I need to release tension out of anger 
I don't even mind if they use "tong sampah" as long as they sound good. I understand that when drum machine is used in metal, it may sound a bit "towards industrial"...with additional electronic element, it can be easily transform into industrial music.
I think gender should not be an issue in terms of music. Not many metal bands with female band members as far as I know...I used to listen to female metal bands like Vixen but I haven't seen any female Death/Grind/Black Metal band in my life yet. Not many female loves metal anyway especially in this country. |

hm.. now i can see who is WISER in this forum...or SIAPE YG NAK TUNJUK TERER...but anyway i'm not in the wiser side i guess..
but anyway i'm cool with that...and i stick to my oppinion....

Bagi aku, penggunaan drum machine tu depends la kepada jenis muzik metal yg macam mana. Sebab term metal tu terlalu besar dan general. Ada heavy metal, black metal, gothic metal, epic metal, bla..bla..metal. Itu depends pada taste masing-masing. Symphonia Melonia, our very own neo-classical metal act pun guna drum machine kat album kedua depa.

between drummer ngan drum machine...
kalau drummer mmg konsisten dan bleh diterima pakai takper....
kalau drummer hancur???
everyone wanna choose the best rite??

for metal bands out there that uses drum machines
does they sounds like too phat??? s**t
music is an abstract thing...
don't ever bother to say music this music that...
music could be anything...
ever thinking to go back in time
and shouted to our ancestors ...
"hey your music s*cks... it should be like this... it should be like that"
where do think our modern music coming from??
if u tried to tell people to this and that...
its no longer thier music...
its YOUR music...
please

| That's very true. You should not let anyone control the music you wanna play. Everyone has their own opinion..this is fine. Asking for opinion for correction/improvement is fine. When it comes to your music...it must be yours. If everyone stick to the same way of doing things, it will be boring. Imagine a world with every human being wearing the same clothes/uniform. Be yourself..then our scene will have more creativity. Should not be scared of breaking the rules of music. If you want to use tong sampah as drums (like Stomp)...u should go ahead.... |

aku lagi suka drum betul dari drum progammming kalau bagi yg metal...supaya aku boleh banging dgn perasaan yg sebenar
bagi yg metal pompuan tu aku tak kesah, tgk iron maiden pun saspek pompuan2 tu kasi nyanyi lagu dorang...dalam tribute yg pompuan nyanyi tu...rock sore....jgn petikaikan |

Hmm tengok pada sound dan cara dia main gak...kalau kantoi sangat sampai lari dia punya vibe memang potong stim laaa. Tapi majoriti band barat tuu dah lama guna cara ni sebab memudahkan lagipun skang ni dah ada banyak sample sound yg real dan susah nak kita detact samada machine atau orang yg main.......  |
