My first gig was back in 1995 or 96, I was 15 years old. They were Butterfingers, Splatters, OAG and others mostly cover bands for example Green Day cover band and it was at Picadilly.
At that time, I didn't dare to go to the mosh pit since I was still small size *ehem* at dat time. The next day, I told and spreaded the news to my schoolmates about Butterfingers and OAG.
I also remember the Splatters did a cover of "1 little indian, 2 little indians". And that's my first experience in the underground scene.

r u talking about the children song?? one little two little three little indians...four little five little six little indians....etc?? a children song turned punk ????
That was Splatters??? I thought it was Subculture (very likely I am wrong because I could hardly differentiate the bands during those days...I still get confused these days...the announcement was always not clear) |

I remember during the Picadilly days, Butterfingers was really like Nirvana eventhough they played their original stuffs.
Cant really differentiate whether it's theirs or Nirvana's.

I could differentiate the songs just because I was a Nirvana freak...I treated Kurt like a God till he died...
Yeah, it's true...Butterfinger sounded like Nirvana's clone..I loved them anyway  |
