Best! Very melodic. His shredding is centered around alternate picking 3 note per string patterns with and without string skipping and sweep arpeggios.
TM Stevens songs are very funky and has a very infectious rhythm....solid performance...they truly rocked da house! |

Pasal tiket ni, aku tak tahu aper...dont have connections with the organisers

What we can do is, the next time Bentley holds such an event, we can try and get them to offer a discount on tickets for i-bands members.
After all, we have a powerful negotiating team now! |

Been having a prolonged fever for 2 weeks until now...and injured my back a coupla days ago...
I'm extremely displeased with my playing...not surprising after the long years of hiatus from the guitar and the above circumstances...I seriously need to take time off from the internet from now on because the hectic schedule is affecting my health in a bad way...and I think, if I do have free time, I gotta get back to the guitar...it's been tooooo long since I played...
But everyone else ROCKED! AJ, Sham, Yuri...Neil Zaza, TM Stevens and Gary Sullivan was ACE!
It wasnt a clinic...it was a great rocking and partying event...a nice change compared to the dry and sterile guitar clinics with the question and answer sessions...not that it's not cool but once in a while everyone needs to let their hair down
I havent got photos yet...but I will try to steal some from Sham's camera.
Ridzi was there...thanks for coming man |

All signs of old age doc... been there, had that! Anyway, your health is the most important thing, so do what you have to do to regain the strength to do what you love the most. |

Feel like I'm too old for rock and roll bro...but just saw Keith Richards rocking it out last night on telly...he makes me feel like a baby!
Anyway...yep...gotta get back to playing...and of course the making of the CD. I owe it to my loyal beloved supporters to give them the best of myself whenever I release the CD or the next time I play live...so I owe it to all of you for me to get down to practicing again...just like way back in 1992...and I think I'm gonna take lessons again man...
I wish I could get my hands on the video now...I frankly cant remember a thing what I played that night...and I think neither of us did. We just met to decide on a coupla riffs to fool around with for 1 and a half hour and that was it...then later forgot whatever we discussed... we hoped to squeeze a last minute rehearsal during soundcheck but too bad Neil Zaza and his gang finished their soundcheck late that we could just afford a quickie soundcheck...and Sham and me wasnt happy about the sound we're getting...
...so we just went up there and winged it! Thank God The rest of the band was great...there were unplanned bass and drum solos as well! |

Yeah...at the beginning of the performance, both Sham and AJ 'signalled' to me to tell me that I need to turn up my volume, but unfortunately my amp had to be moved offstage(there was not enough space onstage...too cramped) , so I cant reach it to adjust the volume.
Thanks cool for being there man! |
