Spunky Funggy didn't make it that day. Poor audience turnup.
I enjoyed a few bands i.e. Faraday, The Fridays, Civil Disorder...and a band I heard as Catastrophe???? not sure whether I heard wrongly or what...I don't see this band in the list. The vocalist wore a hat (not a cap) playing indie/punk stuff...any idea what's this band? It's a trio |

| haha...sorry lah...tiap-tiap kali pun aku tak boleh dengar nama band baik-baik....mungkin sound system Paul tak cukup bagus....very hard to listen to the vocal sometimes too...I am serious... |

not really?
bands should use their brains abit.
if u have distortions, lower ur volume on the amps.
plus knowing the fact about paul's idiotic monitors...
theres always a solution.
u know u cant hear the vocals on the mic, then lower ur volumes la..

It's not the case of music instrument having high vol and the mic having low vol. It's the clarity issue. Let alone the singing part. Even when a person talks, I can hardly hear what the person is saying. I don't know it's my ears issue or what. Worse if the person is mumbling or too shy to talk or speaks too soft. Frankly speaking, it's not even Paul's Place. I have this problem even all the way back in the old days in Picadilly, Life Centre, etc. I would say every gig I got this problem...unless I watch it at home in Astro...
Perhaps I should listen to u (Irene) in the coming gig if u are the announcer |
