i went there like a few years back and i saw this malay dude approaching a hawker stall selling t-shirts and stuff. he just looked and touched a t-shirt which was on display and one of the hawker jumped right in front of him and quoted the price of the t-shirt... just as the dude was about to go, another member of the hawker grabbed his arm and forced him to buy the t-shirt! i was like "what the f**k??"... they threatened the guy, saying "this is china-town, jangan main2 aa.. "
i quickly left the scene... takut oo! |
Yup, I think some of the hawkers there look like gangsters and they behave like one too. I only go there when I need to show visitors around KL - well, to show them how rude Malaysians can be!!
When I was in the college, I went there to eat something. One of us ordered food from one hawker and the rest of us ordered from another hawker. So, all of us sat at the first hawker's table. Guess what!! Because of that, the hawkers started an argument between themselves. A fight almost broke out. We quickly finished our food as fast as we could and left. Of course, we didn't enjoy the food in a rush. I would not go there for any food after the incident. I admire Malay hawkers because I haven't met any that are so fussy about the location where customers sit as long as someone at the table order something. |

petaling street la best...woo hoo!!!
or any place around that area...
maybe it's because i don't dress up so "classy". . normally i get bad service from guitar shops....
I went to send my company's guitar. . for repair at Guitar Store at sri hartamas..it 's and expensive guitar...Esteve...the salesman there ask us..."What is this expensive guitar doing with u guys?" ...as me and my fren was looking at those yummy guitars...the sales guy went up to us and ask..."So, which guitar can u guys afford?"
wat's wrong with him??
too bad they don't sell guitars at petaling street...if not i would have bought each of mine from there...lol |

Irene, pls buy yourself an old Metallica T-Shirt with the album titled "Kill 'Em All"
I always think it's a cool album title for a metal band.... |

Me also had a bad experience in Petaling Street.
One day I bypass PS to go to Klang Bus Stand, at the same time I looking around but i never stop at any stall. suddenly, one of the hawkers with no cloth shout "Hoi.. melayu, mau beli tak mau? tak da duit ka? ma cib..", he said. I stop and look around to whom this guy shouting at, after that he add "lu lah, lu cari apa? kani..". i turn around went off.
Since that i never go to Petaling Street. _________________

It gives me the impression that they don't like non-Chinese or Chinese who cannot speak their dialect (Cantonese). I avoid such location too.
They thought they're from HK and they're the smartest Chinese on earth. In fact they're the rude scum of the earth who is stupid enough to believe they're born in HK. |
