Stone - I had seen the the muffin play live a year+ ago. they didnt impress me much...maybe coz they were trying too hard? or maybe coz i just find them a bit poyo on stage...
anyways, i personally think that all these personal rebellious taste that we have about rock music will slowly dissapear as we get older.
now i'm in my 30s and i just dont care that much anymore about what rock genre that i need to support now...coz rock is rock - but maybe that's just me.
Still, the only true rockers that i will always adore are those guys from The Ramones coz they never sold out despite them being out there for like more than 30 years...sadly they're gone now... RIP!
Actually, despite my age, it's strange that now i kinda into female fronted melodic goth bands...Nightwish, Within Temptation, Xandria, Lacuna Coil. There's soo much beauty in the darkness that these bands bring...

rasanye tu pasal promotion and marketing. local bands lacks the money to do so.

yealah... tu movie baru coming this Raya pun dah macam movie indon. demmit! apa nama tu? haa Salon! taktau lah citer dia camner nanti..but promo dia.. mmg macam movie indon ah.
Pali.. local bands bukan takde under Major labels. kalau diorang nak promo kat sana boleh bebenor. Cuma bands kena make it here dulu then only they'll get a chance to go out. Macam band2 indon tu.. peter pan.. radja.. diorang semua jual gila babens kat sana pun. So basically.. kalau kat sini pun tak jual.. apa sebab diorang nak pertaruhkan duit diorang utk promote band tu kat luar pulak..
tapi pop shuvit leh jual kat luar pulak  so teori tu takleh pakai ah. rezeki orang sapa tau kan.

| marketing ek??? yup!! aku setuju gak.. bila sebut bab marketing, aku terpikir kenapa album SEVEN COLLAR T-SHIRT - DRONE, BUTTERFINGER - SELAMAT TINGGAL DUNIA xleh sampai ke indon??? kalau kata music 2 band ni x bagus (utk album2 yg aku sebut tadi) xtau la.. aku rasa album diorg ni berisi.. |

aku cakap pasal penjualan album, bukan pasal nak perform kat oeversea. aku nak tau lebih pasal marketing and promotion. apsal album2 b agus dr malaysia tak sampai luaq negara??? takkan nak harapkan underground punya selling kot? berapa ketoi sgt yg bleh jual? ni la kena minta tolong major label. kalo x, watpe nak ikat kontrak ngan major label? nak ikat kontrak ngan kapitalis? hahahaha.. terlepas cakap la plak..
pasal show kat oversea, aku memang ada dengar skit2 (tak banyak..)..memang betoi pun, pasai duet. contohnya kos nak pi naik kapal terbang tu. kadang2 organizer kat oversea tu bayar utk show saja. aku ada dengaq band ipoh "enthrone fall" kot xsilap aku..depa ni pernah dpt showkat korea kot, tp kos penerbangan sendiri. alamak mampus gak la kalau 4-5 org nk naik kapal terbang. kira tgk kos brapa. lain la depa ni 24 jam main music utk beli beras (profesional)..kekeke..tak pun kalau ada jet sendiri macam metalicca tu senang la jugak. tour je, sewa laluan penerbangan.. pehh.. ni malaysia beb.. buatnya band yg di tawar show kat oversea ni diorg part time main music + menoreh getah??? hahahah..jawap la..

Emm...ko ada baca Rottw cover M. Nasir dulu tu? Dia dah jawab pun kat situ....market Indon ni memang susah nak tembus sebab politik diorang yg lebih pentingkan muzik mereka dulu. Tapi kalo ko banyak duit utk buat modal cam artis barat tu, rasuah dan lain˛ taktik kotor ko boleh tembus market diorang punye!!! |

actually there is a tempat that sells underground CD is singapore.
its a music shop. Singaporeans are damm setia when it comes to metal bands.
