I have tried on the Roland TD-3K and TD-6K. Sounds incredible! Just imagine... You are buying a lot of drum sets in one Gooooooooooood Price and you will not complaint with your neibours.

Most important thing is look at the snare drum. The Roland one is using the Mesh Pad but Yamaha is still using the rubber. The feel is totally different and I saw Michael Schack who performed at Roland Asia Pacific, the new Roland distributor (formally was Bentley) and man... you can play anytype of music with it. Rock, Hip Hop, Jazz, Trance... and even percussion.

Omar Hakim is playing with V-Drums, the big one and could you say that it feels different? Sound different?

If I am right, in Malaysian Idol this year, they are playing with the V-drums.

Coooooooooooooooooooooooool!

I wanna try the BIG SET!

Hey Dude,

Check out the new music store at jalan Imbi whom are the authorise dealer fro Roland V-Drum, you can try out the V-Drum there and get the good advise from there, then you can go to KL Plaza's Yamaha to try out the Yamaha TDXpress drums.

Then you can get a very good picture of comparison!.

Cheers...

Dude...

You shuld try out that Roland SPD-s Sampling Pad... it's totaly cool!!!

you don't have to stick to the sound which only you can find in the pad it self... you can also down load your own sample + build in compressor, Efx & ++++++... if i want a Drum Pad, i'll go for it.... for long term usage....

I think the price is around RM2,200.00...

affortable!!!

Cheers
