You played guitars on this rite? I can see the strong Blackmore influence there  The vibrato, phrasing and bends I really dont see why you would want anybody else to play guitar for you...you're good man... |

Doc, thanks...but i'm so so ol' skool...i dig guitar solos during the times of blackmore, page, beck, santana & clapton...and i stop digging during Van Halen, Malmsteen and so on..so technically i'm too old fashioned...left behind sangat..harapkan abit of the scales i know and my expression....so bila nak teknikal sangat on certain songs kene la carik guitarist yg sepatutnye....or maybe just stick to the old bluesrock kind of songs.. |

ooopss sori..lupa nak cakap...all rythm guitars were played by JD...becoz i'm a lousy rythm player..so i blasah the solos je lah and of course the vocals...i just asked jd the kind of sounds i wanted and dia pun godek2 la Line 6 Vetta II dia tu...tak la dapat 100 like i wanted tapi ok lah..maybe nxt time bole dapat lagi better sound..
Doc, apa kata for "Don't Think So" kita buat kt studio dia and let him be the producer...lagipun the file mmg ada kt pc dia..kalu ok maybe during the CNY end January bole start..i'll be in kl for 4 days.. |

You can mail me the mp3 of the rough mix of the song if you want...I may be able to familiarise with it. It's very difficult for me to record out of my house(i.e in other studios) though...with my hectic schedule and all...and especially when I still dunno the final outcome of my left hand injury yet 
Tapi of course kalau ada 'bayaran',...malam ni pun boleh datang(boleh kensel klinik )! He he he...(I'm sure you know too well by now that I'm a true whore!!!  ) |

I hope you dont see me as too snobbish or as somebody who 'has an attitude' ... I have no qualms playing for free...I once filled in as a rhythm guitarist in an amateur band playing lagu2 'Selamat Hari Raya' for free...to help them out since their rhythm guitarist was ill(even though I myself was ill at that time). They knew that I do sessions and knew who were amongst my clients, so they told me to play the lead guitar while the lead guitarist plays rhythm...but I refused because I came in purely to help them...so I insisted that I play strictly rhythm and let the lead guitarist continue his role playing all the solos
It's just that lately I havent been able to cope with my work...operating day/night...preparing lectures and exams...conducting conferences...writing research papers etc. etc...I'm rarely in my house to hang out with my family(I know that you're going through the same tough life being a 'weekend husband/dad' too  ). That's why I'm not too keen on leaving my house ...unless kalau balik 'berisi'...he he he...
Anyway...do keep in touch bro...I love your music and it inspires me easily |
