for a start
there 3 bodies which collect and distribute royalties
1. PRISM (Performers & Artistes Rights Malaysia) - represents the performers. Those musicians involve in the recording of a song/track should register and enjoy the rights. more information head down to www.prism.org.my, alternatively talk to them at 03-4044-8299
2. MACP (Music Authors Copyright Protection) - represent authors, composers and lyricists. For more information log on to www.macp.com.my or give them a hollering hello at 03-7984-5089
3. PPM (Public Performance Malaysia) - Represents the labels and recording companies, who are have to be registered with RIM (Recording Industry Association of Malaysia). More info? log on to www.ppm.org.my or call them up at 03-6252-5588
so, get the phone dialing, bring out the pen, coz i think it's only to be a member to at least PRISM

i do know MACP is moving to a new office, but not sure if that affects their website
