| Hmmm this got me thinking, what effect is being used in Hotel California for the main guitar. My ears tell me it's a phaser (or some modulation unit). Very subtle, definitely not a dry guitar sound. Anybody? It's evident on the studio version (electric). |

yes..
even joe satriani(DS-1),steve vai(DS-1), Larry Carlton (BD-2), Neil Zaza(DS-1) and others..but the thing is.. their distortion pedals are modified..
even yngwie is uses cheap DOD preamp pedal to use with channel gain..
