maybe i will still go with ibanez biler dah ader duit, sebab dah mengidam dari dulu. i've already have an ibanez, tapi korean made ar, and im satiesfied with it, eventho its a crappy first guitar :p
tapi aper2 pun, kramer will still in my shortlist of my next purchase... kalo la ader lori bwk duit excident depan umah aku... |
Sebenarnya, sebelum aku upload cover lagu 'Shyboy' dulu, aku ada email dia untuk minta permisi nak upload to the net ...dan aku hantar mp3 sekali untuk dia dengar. 5 bulan baru dia(atau wakil dia) jawab(tapi aku surprise juga dia jawab in the end...maklumlah...Billy Sheehan...sure email dia berjuta juta). Thank God dia bagi permission untuk upload....dgn syarat aku tak buat duit dgn that mp3 lah
And masa dia datang untuk clinic kat Planet Hollywood dulu, my ex-keyboardist got his verbal consent over the same issue again
Kalau Ibanez, aku suka RG series...and of course the JEM too(which the RG series is based on I believe)...sebab another gitar aku yg ada Kramer neck yg aku pakai tu is one of the prototype for the JEM series juga.
So...my main guitar ni is actually a hybrid Kramer/Ibanez JEM |

Anyway, yg pentingnya, samada Kramer atau Ibanez yg jadi pilihan, terpulang kpd yg mana satu yg kau rasa lagi serasi...everybody's taste is different...so make sure you choose the one that you prefer |
setuju ngan kata2 bode ni.... kadang2 kalau serasi dengan satu gitar tu kita akan dapat sound yang sedap dari teknik, setting dan hand stroke kita.... teringat kat satu brother masa kat kampung dulu, dia just guna gitar Hofma je... tapi strumming dia punya bunyik, macam pakai fender strat.
anyway thanks bode, what u were saying makes feel confident with my old and cheap guitar.... he heh e dah tak malu bawak gi jamming lagi dah... |
Masa aku kat UK, banyak org pakai budget/cheap guitar, tapi the musicians kat sana tak hina kau kalau kau pakai equipment murah. Tapi bila aku balik Malaysia...wow...kalau pakai gitar korea/japan...memang kena hina la...amp pun kena pakai yg dasyat2. Banyak gitaris Malaysia kutuk gitar Kramer Korea aku....(depa ni semua pakai Fender USA dan benda2 yg sewaktu dengannya la...eksyen giler)...tapi kesian dgn equipment yg mahal nak mampus depa tu...sound depa macam nyamuk jer...kalau tak caya dengar lah gitar sound dari kebanyakan sessionist Malaysia kat lagu2 yg di radio tu....sedih benar...tapi pakai gitar jenis2 Jackson USA dgn rack besar lah ...
Ada sekali tu, just for fun, aku recording kat rumah, pakai gitar beginner made in China(gitar ni, campur amp dan cable...harga tak lebih dari RM500)...and these snobbish guitarists were guessing that I was using a Les Paul/JEM etc. etc. Because they couldnt get that sound with their expensive British/American equipment...ha ha ha..
Another time, I was playing my friend's guitar...a Squire through BOSS DS-1 into a chinese 'Solex' amp...and the people outside the room thought it sounded great and that I was using some expensive equipment as well.
All the guitar legends started out on cheap budget guitars anyway...and one of the reasons they get great guitar tones is because at their early stage of learning, they train themselves to get great tones out of minimal cheap equipment...by learning about fiddling with knobs and getting getting good tones with the fingers. So, by the time they could afford cool equipment, the rest is history. That's another reason why if you play a Wolfgang through a 5150, you'll never sound anything near to Eddie Van Halen still...
So...no matter how cheap your guitar is...be proud of it...and get the skills to make it sound good...so when you graduate to a better guitar, you're gonna sound even much better. |

aha, bode, aku btul2 AGREE dgn kata2 ko. yes, yes and yes! i agree. i've been there dude. aku pakai samick les paul copy yg bagi aku betul2 menarik, features dier ngam, kualiti buatan dier pun mmg baik, sekali pandang nampak mcm epi (maklumlah, samick kan dlu buat guitar utk epi...), malangnyer, org dok hina guitar aku. ader skali tu, sorang salesman kat sebuah kedai guitar hina samick gila babinyer depan aku. kater samick x worth modd la, itu dan ini. mentang2 dier pakai KH2, nak berlagak! semuanya berlaku kerana jenama samick tu jer... bebudak UK/US tgk samick aku (dalam forum) diorg xder ar cakap crap ker aper, tapi sumer ilek jerk, ader gak yg puji. ader sesetengah tu, mmg 'hail' guitar cikai x xder nama, cth agile guitars. diorg x tgk nama, tapi kualiti. SX pun diorg suka... ha jenama murah tuh!!!
aku btul2 kagum dgn sound erylasia. pakai guitar vantage jerk... tapi sound, fuh! aku respect ar.
tetapi kekadang tu, org bli guitar bukan sebab sound, tapi sebab nilai dier. sebab org kekadang suker collect guitar. aku pun samer gak, biler nak bli guitar, mesti pk ibanez walaupun ader sesetengah yamaha harga nyer lebih murah dan berkualiti. sebab tu la kekadang org sanggup invest duit sampai RM+++++ ke arah guitar jerk. nak buat collection
ya, pasal sound sessionist tu pun aku setuju gak. kekadang tu, diorg nie nama kemain ar ngam, tapi recording still... alahai... sampaikan aku pun 'teranggap' sumer org malaysia mcm tu... BUT I'M TOTALLY WRONG!!! biler aku dgr sound bode, ery, zubira, aku btul2 kagum. dah la pakai EQ cikai (ery... ), tapi sound... pergh. |

Bode; Alang2 nak tunjuk gambar tu, skali dgn rack kat belakang tu la, blh la amik tips skit Hehe...
Cheers... |
Mana ada rack bro...aku cuma ada 2U setup jer...segan la
Dasat lagi rig besar kau! |
Aiyaaaakkkkk.....
Chaittt, rig saye speaker je besor, tp sound x semesti nye besor... lg pon x siap lg dude...
Fuhyoh, cover Shyboy lg tu...tp apsal mcm x de bunyi bass? Ke aku salah dgr?
I agree with Bode completely, tp aku rase aku nak tambah skit la ape yg Bode ckp tu, hehe...
Dont just be proud of ur guitar, be proud of ur whole rig, tu paling penting. Slalu aku tgk, ramai org focus on things, rather than technique, or how to make things sound good. X kisah la what kind of name is on the product, brand famous ke brand yg cikai, if u can make it sound good to U, until u can exhaust the potential of the thing, then the stuff is good. Its as simple as that...My Rm 0.02, hehe
Cheers... |

heheh itu pasal la aku jual semua pedals aku. guna multi-efx zoom yg sempoi je, asalkan dpt sound lebih kurang je, then focus more on techniques, riffing, etc..
phew.. aku dah sembuh dari penyakit GAS hehe.. _________________ > facebook
