yeah, OLP guitars. aku pun ader gak terpk nak bli OLP petrucci sig then mod baieek nyer, ehehe.
aku rasa, kualiti OLP x boleh dipandang rendah ar... aritu aku ader tgk OLP bentuk van halen nyer sig, pergh cun. bass diorg pun nampak menarik.
bass dier siap dapat guitar player pick award, so bagus jugak ar kot OLP nie...
tapi aku mmg xnah try OLP, nnt aku nak p ar try  |

hehe same la..terpikir nak bli pastu taruk jazz/evolution wah agak best kedengarannye!
tapi ntahla..walaupon lawa,dan one of the cheapest ways to own a sig gitar..aku masih rase tak berbaloi.kamon la..rm1400 utk china made?bolt-on lagik tu ngan pikap ntah stok ke ape..semata2 utk bentuk dan autograf petrucci tu je..
bagi aku same cam esp ltd la kurang berbaloi..tapi tula aku create topic ni utk mane tau sape2 bleh menghasut aku ubah pikiran..jauh di lubuk hatiku memang penuh bernafsu nak bli menatang ni haha!

aku rasa hang kena potong kuku.....then pergi test sekali lagi..hehe...
kalau betui best baru beli...kalau tak best jugak...forget it..
sig guitars are made specific for that artist anyway...to fit a certain artist kan? |

hi all
i went there the other day
erm, just didnt like it
(just my opinion ya)
the workmanship was kinda bad, alot of wood dust, gaps between neck and body etc
erm, the feel of the neck also quite not nice to me haha, very rough and not easy to move about
but then again, i;m just an amateur

Utk bolt neck, terlalu rapat and ketat body and neck pun tak berapa elok juga sebab body and neck ada resonance masing masing. Ini akan nyebab resonance tu akan membatalkan satu sama lain and we ill lost the tone.
Ada aku pernah baca orang letak lapisan nipis vinyl antara joining body and neck supaya kedua dua body and neck bergeta secara independent and tak saling mematikan antara satu sama lain.
kita nak bila guna neck maple bunyi ada maple punya tone and kalo pakai body basswood ada ciri body basswood.
But who care.... hahhahahahaha

workmanship memang tak best sangat kot...
masa aku tengok van halen series tu..ade part between neck pickup ngan neck..dah pecahs...seketul kayu terkeluak..haha.. |

eniwei aku dah 3-4 kali gakla test balik & 3-4 kali jugakla pure2 tanya harga,tawar skit2,cakap nak pikir2&datang balik pastu blah sudahh keke.ntahla..just doesnt feel the connection eceh.aku test gakla main beberapa riff2&lead2 DT (yg sonang2 jela) konon nak dapatkan feel la..haram satu feeling pon takde..kuku pendek tu!
haritu aku usha doremi nampak samick 29 frets..gilo ntah camne nak main tak tau la?

| high end samick is not bad IMO, eventho the price is RM1000~1500. kalo ko jumpa samick artis series, jgn lupa utk test drive, i own one, and i love it. |

i tried all the original musicman series ...OLP is NOTHING like that real ones. go for a Korean ibanez with 1400

| What about the dimension. e.g the neck thickness. Is it the same between the real deal petrucci EBMM & petrucci OLP. Forget about the hardwares, woods, quality... I just want to know the dimension. TQ |
