kerana ku kemaruk nak cari gitar with floyd rose yg murah2, tadi aku pun terbeli ler gitar ibanez ni for rm850...colour is just normal black.
tapi yg cibai gitar ni locking allen key kat neck and the whammy bar dah hilang, PU dah rusty sikit and the neck a bit bengkok...tapi aku rasa sume ni boleh adjust...dah survey, the lock one set is around rm30 and whammy bar rm40 kot...
just hope the floyd rose tu ok lagi...sound wise ok kot coz aku cume boleh try dgn amp cinonet giler...memang ada bunyi keluar tapi..hehe
so apa comment korang? price dia rm850 ok tak? or did i just ripped myself off?? oh well...not the first time!
aku tadi dapat test kejap2 je...tapi kalau tak angkut aku gerenti orang lain sambar...gitar2 lain kat kedai seken hand tu sume lagi hampeh...haha
so tadi lepas beli i immediately terus hantor kat mekanik gitar aku kat hartamas and hopefully the baby can be rejuvenated to its fullest potential soon.
seriously aku rasa macam beli kete seken hand pulak...haha...
so anybody has any thoughts on this guitar? history? the good, the bad etc...care to update. I heard the licenced floyed rose there is not too bad...so hope i can do dive bombs soon!
also, i really hope this thing is a lot better than any GIOs out there...dont like the GIOs coz the necks a bit too fat for me,a dn finishing tak cun sgt....this RG punye neck memang aku suke..
actually ada ler gua nak survey budak nak jual a GIO for RM800, tapi aku rasa lagi baik old RGs than the GIOs...so tu lah aku sambar je gitar ni tadi....

wah...otaizam...ur response convinced me a bit that i didnt just flush my money into the drain...
nanti lepas keluar kedai, aku kasi update...hope the makeover fee wont be that expensive
read harmony central reviews on it - it's been ok.
it's korean btw - not chinese.

hallo silbi, kita pakai RG same model ar. mine is an RG270 too, but dot inlay lah. i bought it brand new rm1140, rm1240 with gator hardcase. bli pada tahun 2002.
bg aku, rm850 tu kira murah la. cuba ko tgk serial number kat blakang headstock, kalo C02++++++, maknanya tahun 2002. kalo C01, 2001, dan seterusnya. huruf tu menentukan kilang mana ia dibuat. C=cort.
kalo modd, tukar pickup sebagainya, mmg ader banyak perubahan. as you all know, aku taruk X2N, mmg no hal la utk high gain dist sound. clean sound bagi pendapat aku mmg baik. kalo kene dgn amp yg btul2 bagus, sound dier mmg hebat. aku guna POD, utk clean sound, aku guna fender tweed nyer sound, mmg clean giler (...well, 75% sebab POD)
tapi bila string dah rusty, sound jadi cam cibai sampaikan aku trasa nak bli guitar baru.
fretwire dier pun ko dah toksah risau, saiz dier dah ok, tebal gak. kat situ dah save, maybe dalam 4-5 tahun lagi, baru tukar baru. and the iLT trem kat RG270 tu xlah bagus sgt. boleh hold tune tapi, akan lari skit la. kalo ko mmg byk guna trem, aku cadangkan supaya ko tukar trem tu, edge pro ka, schaller trem ka...
and yes, there's a major difference between RG270 and GRG270. neck profile dier mmg lain.
ape2 pun, make sure ko hanta setup dlu. dan test guitar tu dgn amp yg btul2 baik, baru sound dier btul2 kluar. jgn judge guitar tu dgn amp bodo |

skang nie, utk RG korean made, ader 2 jer yg glamour, RGT42 dan RG350. yg RG350 tu mirip2 JEM, cuna xder monkey grip jer. yg RGT42 tu org ramai kata antara guitar yg paling baik dalam price range RM2-3000, kerana featuresnya yg menarik.
RG350 tu harga dalam rm1600 ar... cun gak, kalo aku ader duit, nak gak sambar satu. PLUS, body dier basswood, worthy ar drp spend rm1600 dapat body agathis  just jokin |

chop!! after reading the thread properly.. br perasan.. mine is the gio neck la.. psl tu only 800++.. haha.. sorry to dissapoint... but, the nect doesnt look so bad la...
