ESI announces DuaFire, the world's first FireWire audio interface that supports ESI's exclusive EWDM technology. ESI finally adopted the famous EWDM technology to the DuaFire FireWire Audio interface. Now you can use driver interfaces like ASIO 2.0, GSIF 2.0, MME and WDM simultaneously with the same features that made ESI's PCI audio interfaces famous, the EWDM driver. EWDM for FireWire also provides the DirectWIRE technology- the virtual digital patch-bay and support for ultra low latency values (as low as 1.5ms or even less).
DuaFire is an ideal mobile recording interface for both laptops and desktop computers. Its flexible inputs allow you to record from a variety of different sources. You can directly connect devices with line level, turntables via the built-in phono preamp, microphones (+48V phantom power support), and Hi-Z signals (e.g. a guitar).

ESI announces release of first UG-1 package, USB JamMate UG-1 Electric Guitar Pack. UG-1 is an electric guitar with a USB connection that plugs right into your computer or laptop and powered by ESI's state of the art USB technology. The heart of the ESI USB technology is the USB Instrument Manager driver from ESI. This will also allow UG-1 play along with other USB instrument like bass and drum — simultaneous usage in the same host application is possible. The Studio Projects SP-MPF is a professional pop filter, suitable for all vocal applications. Because of the materials utilized, it is significantly more effective than fabric filters. Use of the SP-MPF will allow higher recording levels to be achieved, with less risk of the clipping associated with "plosives" and large bursts of air.
The SP-MPF directional capability allows for different sonic detail depending on which side of the filter faces the artist. The front side (logo facing the artist) offers better midrange clarity and less low frequency detail. Turn it around, you get less midrange and more lows!
The included adjustable goose-neck and metal clamp allow for easy positioning and because the SP-MPF is metal, it can be sanitized between sessions
