cruelty of da beast
by the time the petrol increased to 30cent perlitre the price of da black gold at world market is dropping. plz update yer source of informations. feels free to read more on sources that transparence than now u r reading. govt tak zalim? hahaha by the time we are chatting here, all of da runcit price is going up due to the increament of the transportation cost due to the increment of petrol/diesel price due to the govt policy to take back a lil bit subsidi yet promised to give back to rakyat by improving da public transport and keep rhetorically saying our price is the lowest in our region (not to say there is no toll in few countries). GIVING BACK TO THE SOCIETY? ya rite... i m the one paying da tolls everywhere i go and using da 1.92/litre of the petrol in da soil of da country that producing one of the best quality oil that we exported every single drop to the foreign country for the sake of profit. i m not going to 'change my lifestyle' as the govt said coz i need to know where the rest of da single penny dropped from my pocket to pay da extra 30cent/litre as they said yet to give back to the society. WHAT SOCIETY are they trying to prove to improve our life standard by driving at da billlions ringgit hi way which is made from our own money of the -said about- 25mil people living in this country? yet we still have to pay the ransom so called a toll. and most at every hi way we gonna catch a sign saying that 'this is the price u hv to pay for yer safe and convenience journey' but actually they doubled up the price, taken from the 30cent story and from da tolls. the 30cents they took from us goes to one tabung i assumed and using to improve the public transportation future project. let say that real price to develop such projects is 1 billion, the actual cost maybe 800mil, another 200mil paid to so called 'govt that kasi lulus da papers'.. so we got another cracked hi way, they got millions of money to share with cronies, we still have to pay high price for gas (also for roti canai we ate, teh tarik, beras, susu, kopi, tepung, etc) and not forgotten to pay at every tolls station. if we still pay 1.62cent/litre, there is no such free tabung to collect from our petrol users, so there is no extra money. simple, isnt it? if let say we drive at rm10/5.2 litre per day, about rm1.50 to be invest in the future project. times by millions of petrol users a day. times by a month. times by a year. so in the next RM, we dont need another extra expenditure to develop a hi way or to improve the public transportation becoz we the society already have our own money to feed them, but we still dont have a control on which contractor will get the tender. mostly to the govt~link~cronies~company. oh and still pay the tolls too!
like u said, 30cent is nothing, but will u pay me 30cent on every single litre i pump in to my car? hehe i dont think so. but if u say YES, i m going to give my receipt on every transactions have been paid since the increament and thank you so much (and pay to others too). |

Hantu, acctually in this thread, we're not blaming for the increased petrol price.. but we're talking about the unsuccessfull implementation of some/many govt plans..
If you've read the whole statement in the 1st page, you should get the picture about the oil price and realise that every govt in the world that subsidize petrol for their citizen have to do this-not to add subsidy(please state if there are/is that not). Do you have any other idea for what should our govt do other than not to increase subsidy? (yes, to let people pay at old price - RM1.62 means to increase subsidy)- Dr. M has said the alternative method.. what yours?
Cronism: cronism are everywhere (including us). This is reality. Cronism scope is more than just giving tender to contractor. Same goes for coruption. I can claim my self corrupt for using pirated software hehe.. we can say muslim who dont pray is corupt too.. ehhe.. cronism and corruption is everywhere if you understand the concept.
But in tender situation, the worst thing is, the cronies dont do what should they do for the given project then rakyat take the consequent. This is truely big sin. Like Pali & Scumgrief said, planning gempak, implementation hancur (Thats reality!). Now our govment is outlining their plan again(RMK9). Then should we blame the plan? its better to think for succes implementation. So how to succeed in dealing with this? do you have something to say?
If we can't think of this and just blaming all the time just by using assumption, we'll go nowhere.
