i'm not sure wat's the deal with beatcraft...
does it include multi layer samples?battery do support that..
i think that's the main thing about making the samples sounds real.
beatcraft only supports 16 beats/bar?or can it do more?
if ur using cubase i think the drum editor is better...u can get the drum maps for the DFH and the battery .kit file from toontrack i think...better u check with ridzi.
battery may seems complicated(maybe not) but i think it's better for drum progamming purposes... |

I just bought online Drumkit From Hell from the US.
when i finally got it....i dont know how to use it. Its the first edition i guess? The orange coloured CD. 2CDs inside. I thought i would just put it in the PC and install it but then i dunno how. It seems that there is no program to run the thing. Although there are a lot of samples wave to extract but where is the actual program where you can do your own drum sequence?
Did i buy the wrong thing here? I am really a newbie to these kind of things. |
thats the one i use.... the original...yes you need a sampler to use it eg Battery. Beatcraft does not support multilayering.
When you have loaded DFH in Battery, you will need to use the drum editor in Cubase/Nuendo/Sonar to prgram the drum lines beat by beat by yourself. There is no easy way to do it.
