uuh, i have another prob, i hope you guys can help me out.
aku ader buat lagu, pakai sonar, dgn beberaper VST like broomstick bass, absynth, DFH, guitar rig... apsal kekadang tu bila nak play, tetiber dier stop automaticly? then ader tulis dropout...
then bila aku nak record guitar, sound aku lambat kluar, bila petik, dalam 0.5 saat, baru sound kluar... apsal eh?
RAM aku x cukup ker eh? should i go buy another DDR400?

posible that ur buffer setting is too low...
or ur using too much of ur CPU power... |

kita ada masalah yang sama la rg_x2n
time recording, cuba usha LED kat pc yang warna merah tu
kalau time recording dia asyik menyala je
nampak sangat pc berat dan tak boleh handle (macam pc aku jugak la)
kipas cpu pulak berpusing makin kuat
tu lah sintem² pc yang lemah macam aku
tolong betulkan aku kalau aku salah

good point oneMB. sebab PC aku always run norton antivirus (which is very2 heavy!) and AVG antivirus, winamp mmg always on  , lastly ATi anf KX nyer driver...
thinking of getting a 1G DDR400...
soundcard mmg xder kene mengene ke dgn issue nie? |

aku rasa pc kite ni tak cukup RAM kot rg_x2n
bila aku record sesuatu kat pc
time lampu merah ni menyala kuat
lepas tu memang ada fx kat sound yang aku record
bila playback, part recording time cpu banyak guna kuasa ade bunyi kzz kzz
RAM aku pun cuma 256MB
buat masa sekarang ni tak mampu nak upgrade RAM
nanti aku update bila dah upgrade RAM (tak tau bila)
aku pun tak tau soundcard ade kena mengena atau tidak |

aku rasa sebab ko load banyak sgt VST tu yang berat, tp, apasal ko pakai dua antivirus? dua2 jalan waktu startup plak tu?

dude, kalau CPU load yg tinggi, tambah ram pun tak solve problem tu. off kan lah background processes yg tak berkenaan bila recording.
latency tu, kalau nak kurangkan ko kena reduce buffer. kalau bunyi pecah2 & ada crackling..ko increase buffer. kalau problemnya kat sini..tambah ram will help.
satu lagi factor is hard disk. especially kalau banyak guna samples. check nengok hard disk berkeadaan tip top or tak.
aku based on godehan2 saja ni. kalau agak2 salah ni. hehe sila betulkan.
